Haha It's pretty hilarious. I always try to not scream or even talk myself when recording, this has happened to me too. I just sounds so loud and awkward :P but if someone else screams, a little bit away from the camera it's totally fine. For that particular moment It was probably the right thing to do, but yeah not the best for the recording hehe! Edit: the rapping wasn't that bad though, you should've only recorded that and not the screams.

i know all the producers do a fantastic work (at home in their studios)...but i have one question: what the fuck are they doing while they play live? a few weeks ago i heared junxpunx and he also gave us a huge theatre show but he was doing nothing with the music and here aswell psykovsky is playing around with the eqs on a djmixer while ableton runs?? and it affects nothing to the music but it seems like he would die if he didnt touch the knobs :D so is live playing only preparing a preset at home, do a lot of shit on the stage and get a looooot of cash? :D sorry for my english and greetings!
Most of his button smashing is show but not everything. With an external soundcard you can output each ableton channels to its own channel on the mixer and then he mixes the tracks live that he selected first :)
There is not a lot of cash so why bother doing more when nobody would know the difference anyhow? I used to do more but the only time anyone noticed was during the occasional fuck up. Then I would get an idiot complaining about me "messing with the track" to which I would reply: "What do you think I have been doing for the last hour you have been happily dancing to?". The friday night was the only night anything happened, the police came and chucked EVERYONE out at around 8am! Those poor souls that decided to sleep and save energy the first night... jaja! it was horrible though.. people waiting in the town nearby for relocation, people on the streets sleeping.. and nothing came out of it. The organisers kept everyones money and arranged a club for everyone to get together there on the sunday i think. I didnt go, the beauty was being outside in a forrest!

Actually he's playing 3-4 sometimes up to 8 tracks simultaneously, each control surface is mapped to loopers, eq, bus switching, segment switching (stereo output,) and sample start (loop and end) Put basically, he's pre mapped a playground of awesomeness on his control surface, all midi triggers. It's pretty insane when you think of it being done in a live environment. Yes he has a track layout as any live performer does but his shows are a plethora of technical fun.

What i mean is. That personally the shouts and screams of the audience is what gives me energy, there is nothing better then the shouts. Also, from what i can see psykovsky is loving the attention and the shouting, i see him with more energy each time i do it, more motivation. I would not shout if i felt like i was disturbing him. I shout from emotion and in moments when the music drops. I also shout in moments where i see him loosing energy, he is working SO HARD to do what he does and im trying to motivate him. But i have apologised for shouting, i apologise for ruining an aspect of the filming, the sound. The shout sounded A LOT louder because i was next to the camera, i was next to the speakers the shouts where not that loud. But i wont apologise for shouting in itself, never, thats just me. I do disagree that its horrible for the artist. He loved it.

I'm sorry but this is not a dancable music. I love psytrance and been listening to it from 1998. I had my share of the parties and doing exclucively LSD. But this is just noise with 175BPM beat. All of the vids with Psykovsky playing no one is dancing.
1. in this video you see people dancing. 2. I've learned to dance at a Psykovsky Party in 2010, he solved a knot in my mind...I would say I have understood 3 or 4 important things in my live and one time it was because of this infinitely creative, psychedelic (in the sense of the word), cosmic, crazy, chaotic and yet so unbelievable intelligent structured, emotional 5h long orgasm of the universe Psykovsky celebrated with us. It was the universe in love with itself, diverging and konverging in 1000 ways. This really made me happy:)
Psykovsky is not made for dancing, it's an artistic performance that kinda sounds like psytrance. I've seen him for the first time this year, I'm usually not fond of this kind of music, but I've spent most of his live sitting and laughing, and enjoying a true art act like I've rarely seen :)
Smonjirez of course i wasn't sober, but i have the comparison with a other parties and this really was special:) Tychus i would say there are both parts, but you are right there are many weird moments in his sets and this probably increased from 2010 till now, but as he usually plays 4h+ there was always enough time for me to dance frenetically:)

What i mean is. That personally the shouts and screams of the audience is what gives me energy, there is nothing better then the shouts. Also, from what i can see psykovsky is loving the attention and the shouting, i see him with more energy each time i do it, more motivation. I would not shout if i felt like i was disturbing him. I shout from emotion and in moments when the music drops. I also shout in moments where i see him loosing energy, he is working SO HARD to do what he does and im trying to motivate him. But i have apologised for shouting, i apologise for ruining an aspect of the filming, the sound. The shout sounded A LOT louder because i was next to the camera, i was next to the speakers the shouts where not that loud. But i wont apologise for shouting in itself, never, thats just me. I do disagree that its horrible for the artist. He loved it.

He is completely drugged. Not such a good thing if you are a dj. However, he doesn't even DJ. The whole thing is pre-recorded and he only pretends doing something. Sad.

I'm sorry but this is not a dancable music. I love psytrance and been listening to it from 1998. I had my share of the parties and doing exclucively LSD. But this is just noise with 175BPM beat. All of the vids with Psykovsky playing no one is dancing.
1. in this video you see people dancing. 2. I've learned to dance at a Psykovsky Party in 2010, he solved a knot in my mind...I would say I have understood 3 or 4 important things in my live and one time it was because of this infinitely creative, psychedelic (in the sense of the word), cosmic, crazy, chaotic and yet so unbelievable intelligent structured, emotional 5h long orgasm of the universe Psykovsky celebrated with us. It was the universe in love with itself, diverging and konverging in 1000 ways. This really made me happy:)

There is more to taking LSD than dancing on music...
Psykovsky is not made for dancing, it's an artistic performance that kinda sounds like psytrance. I've seen him for the first time this year, I'm usually not fond of this kind of music, but I've spent most of his live sitting and laughing, and enjoying a true art act like I've rarely seen :)

Tychus i would say there are both parts, but you are right there are many weird moments in his sets and this probably increased from 2010 till now, but as he usually plays 4h+ there was always enough time for me to dance frenetically:)
