@SpeedTutor no nah I think maybe you did a video on how to set one up before I tried out But this looks more in depth and to be honest If you were making a game using this you've got it all done for you already Just need to calculate physics on the waters surface and boom Boats Swimming is pretty easy to code. I think you've already got one of those scripts ready for players anyway right?
Lovin' the tutorials mate. Some feedback on audio: tends to have richer bass - perhaps increasing the mid frequencies a bit should do. Thanks again for putting these together!
Thanks man, I appreciate the thoughts on that. I've had a few people comment on this, it must be from the new microphone. I'll try and get this sorted as I'm no audio expert, so I don't know what I'm doing half of the time! Haha.
@@SpeedTutor Sweet! Thanks for taking the time to reply! You're awesome! I'm not much of an audiohead - what I know is that if one cranks up the mid frequencies in the range of 1KHz on the audio graphic equalizer, it tends to accentuate the human voice range, thus making it easier to hear. On the same graphic equalizer, you can also reduce the lower frequencies, found on the left side, in the range of 100 - 500 Hz, to reduce the bass. Perhaps your recording software might allow you to tweak this graphic equalizer - and/or the video editor might give some control. Again, just some feedback, thank you for considering! Cheers! :)
Don't worry, I'll try my best to sum it up for you. Built-in was the original pipeline before URP was even a thought in anyone's mind. URP is something that I imagine that will eventually replace the built-in pipeline in the future. URP was built to be a lower end console and mobile type of version of the engine. It has similar features to the Built-in pipeline with some advantages but it does have more settings and things do become slightly more complicated. A lot of the new users are moving over and making projects in URP. The biggest take away between them is that assets from the asset store may not always support URP as it works differently with shaders and some features. Most tutorials you'll find on TH-cam these days will be swaying towards URP as it's the most widely used but you won't go too far wrong between Built-in and URP. I think you'll just find a few more issues with URP and support of older assets and such. I hope that helps :)
@@SpeedTutor you are awesome, thank you :) yeah, I didnt recall URP centuries ago when I used Unity that's why I was confused. Starting studies again and learning a lot over here. Thank you again ❤️
@@V-post Sorry, haha. These comments get lost sometimes because TH-cam doesn't actually bring your replies to the top :( But It's called "Chill Background" from envato elements. Sorry I can't be more specific but that's what my audio file is called. I hope that helps :)
@@SpeedTutor found it easy enough with that. Thank you so much. It’s used in other videos and have been trying to figure it out for a while. Youre the best
Please do more tutorials on how to use and get started with some unity asstes. For example i have been having trouble with the kubold animations set trying to re-create the third person controller with C# instead of Playmaker.
Duuude ive scoured every thing i could think of for AGGES and could never get transparency fully supported or half screen effects due to camera post processing based problem, this is AMAZING cant wait to put this ingame and how are you finding these assets outside asset store?????
You're very welcome, I'm glad I could help - Crest has the link to the Github on the Built-in version page but I have a lot of the assets from previous sales, so I try and cover useful assets that I know the community will like and can get during sales and such :)
I hope you like this video because the Crest system is really awesome!

Free Free ? Is this a typo?
I haven't been this excited about water since when I went on vacation to Roatan a few years ago. Thanks a lot!
Free for built-in, for URP/HDRP you'll need to buy.
only free for built in, as it says in the video
@@reessoft9416 still good enough to play around with it and see if it's a good buy when on flash deal.
Exactly as everyone else has stated but as you say it's free to play around with because all versions function in a similar way :)
Great Video :)
I'm glad you found it useful! :D Thanks for checking it out.
Not gonna lie, this looks pretty good!
It is one of the most feature rich water assets I've used!
Howcome everything is pink?
Which pipeline did you import the asset into?
In the Unity's water system the foam is not realistic. It looks some weird.
Which water system?
What's the Licensing on the free one?
Says MIT on the GitHub repo.
@@NadjibBait I hope it's not someone pretending to be the dev and just redistributing their code for free via github
It's linked on the Unity page for Crest Water (Built-in) - So it's seems as legit as possible :)
Works urp mobile for quest3 ?
I'd recommend contacting the developer just to be sure :)
Thanks for a tutorial on this asset. I use it but so many settings and I don't understand them all.
Haha I know, this is why I suggested to really check out the manual because there is so many features that I didn't have time to show!
This is incredible 😲

Amazing!! Would this work on the Quest 3 VR headset in URP mode?
That's a good question, I'd definitely ask the developer about that one as I've never tested it but it is pretty optimised.
Thanks
You're very welcome :) Is it something you do or could use?

Hey there! I loved this asset. Actually got it before. You just reminded me to use this for my underwater level, so thanks a lot!!
Oh awesome, whats going to happen in your underwater level?
@@SpeedTutor it's going to be kind of an Atlantis level. Still haven't decided yet since it's a time travel multiverse theme.
