We were fostering ours. It came in found my husbands lap. (Not a cat person). 3 yrs later still here. Light of mt hubbys life.

I think as men, more often than not, it isn’t that we don’t want to have a dog/cat necessarily (obviously people have very real preferences). It’s that we don’t want to become emotionally attached to something.
It’s a conditioning thing that I think most males are prone to, when it comes to expression and emotional bonding/attachment. With love, comes pain, and I don’t think that’s always an easy thing for men to accept and express.
I’m not making excuses, I just try to explain this to people who think men are cold hearted/stubborn when it comes to pets sometimes, before inevitably coming around.
I’m glad your husband opened his heart, as we often will, begrudgingly.

Awww pretty kitty. Sniffed around and inspection cleared just fine. She will now rule the humans and anything else that moves around in that house.

What a little beauty! I so want a pair of kittens to love, but I’ve only ever adopted adult cats because I know they’re harder to find homes for. Maybe, just once, I will treat myself to a kitten or two. What pure joy they are! All cats are, we hoomans and cats are just meant to be together.
Soooo many wonderful things bought for her comfort and fun. I’d say she’s lucked out and landed in a home where she will be thoroughly loved & cherished. I love stores like this…. Wishing you all happiness always.

I think some cats’ mission in life is, “I’m going to turn this person into a cat lover.” They just give and give love until the person loves them back.
That's what happened to me. I was a dog person until a tiny black kitten decided I was his person ❤ He changed my life and now more than 20 years later I've had lots of feline furbabies ❤ ...and I still love dogs too!
@@indisishir that’s just like me. A stray cat wandered into our lives. He was so friendly, we thought he was upset during a move, took off and got left behind. The days before micro chip. The day he came into our apt., he ate, used the litter box (YEAH) and fell deep asleep.

What a sweetheart! She’s shy but curious, taking her time to check things out. Freya reminds me of my own cat’s first day home (nearly 12 years ago now): she was very shy and hid the first couple days, but then she realized she was queen cat of the house! Her personality changed completely, becoming confident and social. She still is today. I expect your Freya will be much the same.
Hi Freya was very timid compared to Bently took her a couple of days but now she is doing great they play fight all the time glad we got the two of them
