Calling the Winter - Kulning Ancient Swedish Herding Call - Inspired by Jonna Jinton

did you ever hear about the ancient Swedish herding call? Or in one word "kulning?" Nor did I.
Even though I was always fascinated by nordic music I didn´t know about kulning, about this singing technique which was used by the women in the North to call home the cows. But then I stumbled upon Jonna Jintons Channel on TH-cam and I´ve been absolutely mesmerized ever since. And not just with kulning.
Here I was struggling with the pressure I put on myself and there Jonna Jinton was living the kind of life I was dreaming about. But when she started she had the same thing I have right now. A dream.
So inspired by this wonderful woman I combined a lot of those things I love doing. Singing, dancing and collecting footage of those few magical winter days I was blessed with this year.
I don´t know if you can call it kulning what I did in this song but I hope you enjoy it nether the less.

Dear Dreamer,
it is definitely something I like most about the internet. That it connects people all around the world you would otherwise never meet or talk to ☺️. I am grateful for the technology which makes it possible to share stories with people around the world even when you don't speak the same language.
I loved recording this song. It was a tough project for me back then because singing often triggers my anxiety ever since I had panic attacks on stage 😕.
But it felt good to explore my voice and other genres of music and I want to do it again in the future when it feels right ☺️.
