My dear TH-camr, it is not only going to Cambodia that sometimes the airport police check your money and jewellery. On the way back from Cambodia to the US, if they see you are wearing flushy new and huge gold jewellery they tend to stop you and question you, asking for proof or receipt of your gold jewellery. A piece of advice, do not show that you are rich… it can bring you delay or even cost you extra money. Good luck next time.
The the gold it the issue not money I travel only pass port no other cloth from Phnom Penh to San Francisco they still ask me why got nothing I told them I don’t need cloth I got at home they still stop me ask if I carry diamonds I said nothing just pass port Yab america
