Hi everyone, welcome back to another video on our Swift Challenger 580 2016 modle. This will be the last in a 3 part series and documents from buying the caravan to actually taking her out on her First outting.
it didn't go acording to plan but I will up date I future videos. so sit back and relax 😌

We have a swift elegance and it has LED our truck doesn't, so we had to purchase an electronic box to override

We ordered a Lusso 2 18 months ago and we've been away numerous times since. CERAMIC coated it once home using Gyeon Wet Coat for around a tenner and leaving it immaculate vs dealer £400 to do same 10 minute job.

Glad you like the caravan. We picked our 2018 swift up last yr an all the electrics wouldn’t work with our car and the atc. Was there ages while they sorted out the black box. Then we dropped it off at the storage yard an went away a week later. Picked the caravan up and it was saying solar over charge battery. Then towing it to site noticed the brake’s squealing like you wouldn’t believe 😡 then the first night the fridge was beeping as can’t put to much in the fridge door as the fridge thinks the door is still open as can’t pick the sensor up. Then on a fully serviced pitch water was leaking in the caravan as some seal had gone on the tank under the seat. And agree with the sink 😂 am a wagon driver so suffer with bad back but hate doin the dishes in the caravan the sink nothing like our coachman was. Anyway sorry to go on 😂 but hope you get everything sorted 👍 mines still not 100% but will hopefully goin back to a coachman next year 👍 enjoy an all the best you pair
Hi Carl. Yes, bad back. I'm a truck driver to the nature of the job 😢 black box being fitted this weekend 🤞 hopefully other work over the coming weeks as we go away again on the 8th so not enough time to do all the jobs.

Glad you had good time these little problems will get fixed. Tyron bands we must get fitted our old caravan had them. Enjoy yourselfs. Just packed my wine and pink gin oh dear a bottle fitted in fridge. Poor keith warm larger. 😂

Oooooh I hate finding snags. But it’s no better getting a new one, there will still be issues. Ours is 2 years old now and we’re still finding bit. Hope you get things sorts. Lovely caravan too 👍🏻

We bought a brand new Elddis efficency 550. We had few faults missing shelves in the fridge. Awning guide rail out of line problem erecting awning. Plus other small issues. Dealer was not very helpful once we paid our money for the van.

It's only that sometimes, if you have extended quiet periods in a video, it helps the video move along. But yes, I will look at it. I'm not saying I will do it for all. Sold a 22 year old caravan, fridge worked perfectly on car car electrics then bought a 2016 swift and every thing works on car electrics no probs . So I'm intrigued, your old van was fine so it's not your car. Did you get to the bottom of it

Hi Colin. Its 2016 model swift challenger 580
I have a 2018 Celeste 480 se (challenger with a fancy name). I bought it privately in April this year. On our first trip I had problems with the Sargent command system showing fridge errors. I researched online and found a blog where a chap had had a similar problem with a 2018 caravan he bought new. He found the answer, which was to open the rear vent on the outside if the caravan. Inside is a little box, very much like a telephone connection. If you remove the plug it disconnects it from the Sargent panel . I did this, and my fridge works perfectly now. Hope this helps.
