So when you look around you, you see lights dimming into shadows and then shadows lighting up but If you ever look at the clouds in the sky, you will see that they never really move.
Its not like RDR2 where the clouds cover the sun and the sunlight is gone. Here the sky remains very stagnant and the clouds hardly move or cover the sun. The lighting effect on the ground have no relation to the sky, sun or clouds.
If you think of it it kinda feels like it pulls you out of the immersion a bit but its fine I guess...

Ubisoft really nails with the graphics but nothing else is that good yk.
I mean...the basic formula for all their game boils down to the same thing and even though they try hard to make things work but they never really do.
Sure it looks good and feels premium but if you like that and then buy the game just for it then there will be a time where you will give up and realize that graphics is not the thing here.
Ubisoft nails it with world building as well but their games are bland on the other aspect.
I mean they keep on milking titles just because they sell. I mean how many assassin creed games we have now? How many far cry games we have?
Milking is not bad. But atleast make em fun. I mean rockstar survives on GTA but every GTA is fun in their own way.
The only ubisoft games I like are AC black flag, unity and origins.
Each of these games had something unique. Black flag had awesome ship combat for the first time, unity had the best parkour and origins had the perfect mix of rpg with the old style.
Valhalla is feeling fun too in the beginning but eventually it gets bad and even though the content size is huge there is no motivation to explore any of it. It feels like a weird mix of God of War's norse mytho, RDR 2's random events and horses, fallout 4's settlement systems and Assassin's Creed assassination and it does not do justice to any of it.
I am sure the story might be great and awesome but players need to be hooked till the ending right? There is no hooking factor here. Even the gameplay loop is flawed. Eivor is decent but the assassin was always Basim.
Idk what they tried to do but its just a mess to me and graphics can never cover those flaws.

You need to run it in compatability mode or something...or see a tutorial on yt..mine was crashing too , I fixed it but forgot how

THe graphics looks absoulutely amazing on ps5 at least, the gameplay is okay. Im playing it now and loving it so far

@@solsisod Thanks for replying bro. I did actually try it two weeks ago and you are right the graphics are stunning but I was bored by the gameplay because of how repetitive it was. Ended up uninstalling it haha.

Beware, this game is the buggiest AC till date. Play origins or Odyssey, Valhalla is still bugged.
