@@marcostrejo9687 No what he said made perfect sense, IF someone had completed the third stage before white, he would be ninth. With how the finish line was set up it doesn't seem like MIKAN accounted for one of the marbles in the third stage finishing the stage before the last one in the second, so if the marble that had gotten first place managed to get there before white, and yes I am saying this fully knowing they didn't in the video, they would have been marked under ninth place.
Really I kinda wonder if MIKAN does extra takes of these to see if that actually ended up happening in testing since that seems like it would be kinda funny, first place accidentally gets ninth and then some marble from the second or hell maybe even first stage comes in and takes the gold despite losing a while ago.

i feel like you would use that as the actualy video and then correct it at the end just slow down the video put a big what in the middle of the screen for a few seconds and then let it continue
In the making it would be common, but they made it impossible in the final version, so only 3 per stage were eliminated.

I was gonna laugh if a marble stuck in the second part of the race stayed there long enough for the marbles that advanced to stage 3 to get through their course and take 7th, 8th, and 9th and hten give them the win.

Red is doing fairly well here.
Orange first to finish but tenth. Huh?
The three marbles that got eliminated in stage one must obviously be 10th, 11th and 12th places. As orange is the first one of them to finish (late) that stage one, it gets the best of those possible places.
Same goes for the three eliminated in stage 2. They get places 7th through 9th as they finish, and the ones that actually made it to the final stage are properly ranked then.
