This is my favorite stand up special from 2023. Many of Mikes peers and some active legends have released some zingers this year. Mike stays in the pocket, commands and controls the room, and he's takin care of business.

I’ve still got whole pallets of supplies no one uses….hand sanitizer , spray backpacks, spray guns, antibacterial soap! It was like being trapped in the Stephen King universe!
We were! We were trapped These MF’s caged us up! 3 years gone, the took 3 yrs of our life and most people accept it like it was perfectly ok to do that! I’ve never wore a mask and I didn’t take these damn jabs neither! Do you remember the day that cu-flu vanished into nothingness? People were so thrilled that their chains went of and after 2 weeks or so, everybody already seemed to had forgotten they had them locked up as prisoners in their own homes and being 3 years miserable as F! 😜 I refused it all and I’ll do it again if there ever comes a 2.0! Last time I got the flu was back in 2006! After that? Nope, never! ☀️ Thank God for my badass genes! 💪🏼 😉

Love the straight face. I really like how he transitions by saying, "Now I'm gonna talk about...' He definitely has a unique perspective. I had tears, he was so funny! Loved the Jesus jokes too. 😂

And normally you see stand up comedy once and if it comes on again I change it immediately. Have you seen Joe List or Nate Bargatze? They're both really funny. Nate is also a clean comic, but Joe is absolutely not (in case that impacts your enjoyment of a stand-up set).
I've heard some of his routines on Sirius/XM radio and really enjoyed them. This is the first time seeing him and he doesn't look anything like I pictured. It's funny how the mind works. Anyway, his comedy and presentation are brilliant.
Saw him in Indianapolis, IN recently w/Nate, but I felt Mike like maybe didn’t feel he did too well w/the audience. I didn’t quite know how to take him during that show and if he was actually down on people from the Midwest (even though he shared of his girlfriend being from rural Indiana). Just watched this and SO much funnier than the material in Indy. I guess we just needed an entire special to get a good handle on his delivery.
