I just platinumed this game on PS3! Got cool ninja mode from collecting all skillpoints and completing every challenge on exterminator mode. I love this game, its just so badass!
Probably my favourite game on the ps2 and my favourite game of ALL TIME, if it wasn't for R&C 3...Gladiator and Up Your Arsenal are both my favourite but I can't decide which I like more...
What about Going Commando? It's probably my favorite because so much content and great weapons. Two arenas and second one has those cool "cage" fights. I still like other PS2 Ratchet and Clank games. None of them aren't bad.
@@RealSpaceChild You make a strong point, the makers of this game and how the sequels have progressed have left all of us fans of this franchise always pleased for the most part. Almost every game they’ve put out has it’s own flare which makes all of them deep down our favorites.
GoldenFreddy but homestly i fkn love the vipers,is my fav weapon in the series even if its weak its fin to use,and the shock mod is so fkn useful when little enemies are all around
Not FBI indeed! Sometimes i use the ice mod in co-op to support my partner when fighting an exterminator but otherwise shock mod is glory ⚡⚡😂⚡⚡ With the bolt multiplier we rake in hundreds of thousands under the right conditions
Recently played through the game on a fresh save on Hero difficulty. The game gets gradually harder as it goes on but THIS level just spikes in difficulty for no reason! Too many leviathans as well as the King who takes about a century to drain his health bar combined with little weapon damage, ammo or variety made this very frustrating to come back to. The only level in the whole game I had to lower the difficulty just to beat.
I feel like hero is more reserved for NG+ then after that going up to exterminator was so easy besides being cautious in not getting hit more than 4 times.
1:43 I can't tell if my mind is playing tricks on me, but I swear I can hear the sound effect used for picking up an Aku Aku mask from Crash faintly in the background
I wish all the games lived up to the cover of the game and were like rc 1 style and continued with more unique planets to explore with more obstacles and creatures…

+Quatron Up your arsenal is more kind of a story progressive RaC. Deadlocked/Gladiator is arena and skirmish type of RaC.

dual vipers get so useful in higher difficulties
Not FBI vipers, the flail and miniturrets are my bread and butter
GoldenFreddy vipers are cool but get so useless at some points

2 hits from a Leviathan Flail V99 with Acid Omega Mod on Exterminator Difficulty in Challenge Mode and King Leviathan is no more.

exterminator difficulty does not mess around, getting that platinum was really damn hard

I play this game on a fresh new save on Exterminator Difficulty yearly so I feel your pain. It is indeed a big difficulty spike.

I've always found it odd how the King Leviathan didn't have a death animation like the regular size ones.
The death animation probably glitched and they decided removing it was better than fixing it.
