Hey Rocky that snack is made from rice flour and sesame and not besan. Also this shop is just a commercial and 20 years old.. Locals have been experiencing these snacks from God knows when and Berhampur is culturally rich. You should have visited some women who make these snacks and supplied by their men to homes. Also mua has authentic shops. There is also a very local sweet called Satpuri. Mua is very famous. Let me know when you come next I will provide factual information to you guys.
