First time hearing these new songs 🎉 All amazing, love hearing the multiple and different Mayu voices, drumming, Bass and guitars intense with many new tones. ❤ Sounds like an upgraded and refreshed band 😊 can’t wait to see them live again 💥 Caught the Kirin 🦒 cover Flash 🦒Thanks for a great stream recording!
All songs composed by the band members, just my opinion but now they are what THEY want to be not what the producers wanted them to be... and I f-ing love it 🤘🔥 Mayu cementing her place as my favorite singer with this album
The album is kick ass! They all just feel more free and it sounds like it on this new album. Amazing all of them. They have all stepped up and knocked it out of the park and Tamu was mind blowing on this album. Cant wait to see them live again and I hope Tamu releases some drum cams for these songs.
I also made the mistake of listening to this album tonight before I wanted to go to sleep. Result, the night was way shorter than planned. 😂 I mean, yes, the whole thing is still Nemophila, but a heavy mutated one. :) Apart from maybe 'Beautiful Days' - and even in this one when i think about it - the earlier releases have already given me the feeling that they've got rid of a lot of chains that have creatively restricted them. And I think this album only confirms that. As I said before, nothing against Saki, but Nemophila as a 4-piece sounds, yes, different, but a lot more free and more of a (creative) unit than ever before (imo). The last track name of this album actually says it best. 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ ⟬ _"America invented rock. England improved it. Im not sure but has Akakagachi got a traditional Japanese drum playing underneath Tamu's drum sound. Not sure but I saw Tamu practice in a hall with a group of ladies on drums set up on stands. The explicit lyrics warning for one song should have been an explicit drumming warning on the whole album. This record is awesome. It's not like their others as it doesn't have a large variety of styles but it has compacted so much into each song. I have a feeling that since they did that covers EP they realised that using what they had learned in 4 years or more it was time to leave the nest. They really have evolved now.
I read an interview with Hazuki yesterday where she said that when she wrote Akakagachi she was inspired by the traditional shinto rituals/performances called kagura that she used to watch as a child growing up in the Iwami region of Chūgoku. She wanted to capture the essence of those performances in the music and lyrics.
I have the CD/Blu-Ray combo on its way from Japan, but this was my first time hearing the full album. It's FANTASTIC! They always level up and impress the hell out of me.
Love it. Great album. Haraguchi San doing more, and Tamu is fire. Mayu sounds incredible. 🤘Burn it love it. Akakagachi is awesome. Anadatande is great. These songs will be incredible live on stage.
Another crazy good album! You're right on with Ankor. I've been enjoying them as well. Along those lines, have you listened to Calva Louise at all yet?
What a great album! Thanks for going over it.
'Burn It' is fucking incredible.

I listened to this album this morning while running errands. It’s so damn good! And yea I was picking up on them Sepultura vibes as well.

Got my physical copy along with the deluxe Bluray last night. Their appropriate 4 hour show at Hibiya open air will be epic!

"Burn it" is a masterpiece. Live it has everything to be brutal.

This gets my vote for album of the year and it's only January.

No I have not
I told you about Burn It ;)
This new album is so cohesive and goooood !!!
They played "Beautiful Days" in Nagoya and Osaka. Mayu on rhythm guitar.
Good as Hell Quartet, Mayu with longer guitar bits too, no doubt, two different guitars, especially towards the end.
😎🤘🔥
