As someone who had a broken relationship with their sibling and is now healing that relationship, this video truly displays the tension that is between siblings that have grown distant. During the period that I left a wound on our relationship, I acted like Diluc. Cold, full of resentment, distrusting, and condescending at times. Now as our relationship is healing I am more like Kaeya; at times I feel guilty, sadden by the past, and even a little cynical. Often joking by sliding the past under the rug. It’s hard when depression takes over and you make actions that was unlike you. What’s worse is your true self is stuck in guilt because truly I would hav e ever done that. Maybe that gives a little hope, that humanity remains and those actions can be prevented because you know it’s not truly you.
I really love their dynamic, but at the same time I hope they'll be able to make up to each other. Kaeya and Diluc shares their own griefs, but they can overcome it if they go through it together. Let's see what 3.5 has in store for us. This genuinely made me cry. I love them so much 🥺
my jaw dropped during that scene of them running next to the tree as kids because I wasn't ready for such a nice and smooth animation and I've honestly not been able to pick my jaw off the floor yet.. gonna need at least a couple dozen rewatches first :0

WAAUGUH H AUAAUHG AAAAAA - dude you put an insane amount of effort into this. everything is so gorgeous--the lighting is so soft (I still think about what you did with the lighting in the other one, you're just so consistently good at it). i love the way its so.. bouncy. all the movements fit so well with the music, and not just like when the beat hits, but how the scenes and motions themselves really match the feeling and meaning of the song. - 1:19 i know its his little gem thing but it looks so much like a strawberry. i love him so much - i LOVE everything about the transition with the sword - the wall of portraits.. ouch youchie. crepus loved them so much. 1:38 with the flowers is a great touch

Reminder Diluc wasn't a bad person with the way he reacted but the trauma doesn't jusity for his harsh reaction! It wasn't right for Diluc to treat Kaeya like that but that doesn't make him a Villan. I really love it when characters genuinely act human with their negative and positive personality traits
