A lot of the weirdness of this figure comes from the fact that a good portion of the engineering and design is lifted and upscaled from Lucky Cat's Bumblebee Movie Prime ... which is legends scale.

13:21 bro, just some small tips, you missed a couple transformation steps. For the truck mode to roll, the wheels in the front should be first pulled out and then pushed down. There's a tiny hinge and slot inside the front wheels that should be your guide. Secondly, he has side mirrors hidden on the sides of the chest. They really origami'd them in there and that's why it's hard to spot. If you've done these, especially the wheels one, then I'd say he rolls way too well for a phat truck. Tho the only gripe I have with the truck is that the cab and the bed don't really tab in very well when you hold it.
As one born in the 70s, the Transformers I grew up with pale in comparison to modern ones. The detail and complexity boggles my mind. "Transform in 6 steps" now seems to be a thousand. Worth it. The designers of these things must see in 4 dimensions or some shit.

He is better looking than Yolopark in terms of the proportions but not by a lot. It still kind of reminds me of it especially in the sculpting and the way the joints are positioned.
Sure his bot mine looks good but that truck is horrendous. If you really want a ROTB prime just for bot mode, save the money and get Yolopark. Looks better anyway

You think for the MPM size the transformation is very frustrating, imagine doing it on a 13 cm tall transformable prime figure which transforms exactly the same as this one. It's fun, yet suffering at the same time
Finally, someone said it! I wholeheartedly agree with this because none of the 3rd Party BBM/ROTB Optimus figures get their truck modes correct. BBM is complete guesswork as we never see him actually transform in the film, until ROTB. Out of all of them, I would go as far as to say that SS-38 (and maybe the MPM) has the superior truck mode in all angles. EVEN SS102; Hot Rod shoulders and unfinished transformation aside, atleast they nearly made the frame look clean if they did finish the transformation/engineering. There's no excuse for 3rd Party companies to clean-up the truck's back and frame. So as far as transforming versions of the design, we still don't have the perfect one YET.

The back of the truck on this figure is such a disgrace. I always hate the excuse of "but its only XX dollars!" The whole point of the DLX sized figures is to get the best possible engineering, detail and accuracy. We shouldn't be sacrificing the truck bed just to save a couple dollars.

Why do the silver and white parts look so yellow? It's specially bad on the thighs and the sun shield. Maybe they're supposed to look worn out or something, but they could've made them look dirty, not rusty.
