It's sad that some don't even consider him a Arsenal legend, after all he gave for us. Sure he didn't fulfill his 'potential' but so did a lot of other players; yet he was able to score over 100 goals as a winger... That's a legend.
Mufaro100 yeah because goals are more important than winning trophies aren’t they. Dont question my logic when yours doesn’t make sense. Pires was an INVINCIBLE and won major trophies. Walcott didnt
Kuseaux you’re really lowering your expectations. But I don’t blame you, this is what our club has come to now. Our main priority used to be winning leagues and getting into the champions league now we have fans that think walcott can be called a legend in the same category as henry, viera bergkamp etc just for scoring a lot of goals.Smh
He can't be considered a legend at Arsenal, maybe at Spurs he will be but at Arsenal, the bar for being a legend is quite high considering the likes of Henry, Adams, Rocastle, Bergkamp, Vieira etc He can't be a legend, didn't achieve much at the club.
I remember this game it was like 8:00 pm UK time or 10:00 pm ( EAT) and electricity went off when the score was 3-3. I was so frustrated and annoyed but hopefully when the power came back it was like 6-3. One of the most entertaining arsenal games I've watched.
What a game for Gibbs. Scoring 3 goals and that season was really his best season in his career. Shame he went to Liverpool...one of my favourite number 15 ever!
Yeah he had a terrible game, was generally quite good 1v1 though. Sagna terrible for the 2nd goal 1v1, unlike him. 12/13 was Sagna's worst season for sure, then he had a great 13/14
Gone are those days Arsenal played beautiful football with flair and passion. Scoring goals upon goals are the beginning of the season even though they later end the season trophy less
If Walcott, Diaby, Rosicky, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Ramsey, Wilshere, Van Persie, Eduardo, Cazorla only got half the injuries they got we would've won a few league titles. Each of them got more injuries than four injury prone players combined. We were really unlucky...
That hatrick goal from Walcott, I wish more players would do that instead of going down so easily, trying to milk penalties. If I'm not mistaken he done one similar v Norwich
So true. It has echoes of George Best, who would be brought down, but chase and win back the ball. Scoring with such technical perfection after having to get back up and regain balance is astonishing. (Yes, the penalty calls are sometimes for the flimsiest of contacts. Walcott did not even think about the possibility. Compare with poor Cristiano Ronaldo who has been tripped in the box by invisible broom-handles across his path...)
The first half contained some poor defending which allowed Newcastle to equalise three times. When the game went up to 5-3, I knew that the game was won and I went home, only to discover that the final score was 7-3 and Giroud almost scored a hat trick being subbed on in the final 20 minutes. 2012/2013 Arsenal was unpredictably inconsistent, probably a consequence of RvP’s departure.
I've seen Sergio Ramos and Giorgio Chiellini doing more stupid stuff. It happens, there's no defender that doesn't make stupid errors regularly just like there's no striker that doesn't miss sitters
A ten-goal thriller that was but the game against Newcastle that will forever be etched in my mind is the one that they(Magpies) staged a comeback from four-nil down to finish at 4-4
Games like this only emphasize that a leaky defence has been the biggest of our problems for the past decade. Hell, its been a problem since we left Highbury.
Don't understand Arsenal. Have world class players and mess them about. Must be frustrating for the fans that the board don't seem bothered about winning trophies but saving money.
I was in the stadium this day with my father, incredible match
BQ 08 i was in my couch that day with myself. incredible match 👍
I wasnt in the stadium this day with my father , i was asleep
My dad went alone
Same my first arsenal match when i was five
I was there to good night and game
You must be a grand father or mom
That last theo goal gave me the chills lmao
Walcott's prime right here.
The real one I always see you

Thats not a legend at all. If anything hes a cult hero
@@MT-qg7ev So by your Logic Pires is Not An Arsenal Legend Either Since Walcott has more goals than him.. AND Ljungberg...
Mufaro100 yeah because goals are more important than winning trophies aren’t they. Dont question my logic when yours doesn’t make sense. Pires was an INVINCIBLE and won major trophies. Walcott didnt

2:52 unreal assist from wilshere
ferds 🤣
I laughed so hard 😂
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
A beast 😂
This is the definition of entertaining football! 8 goals in the second half and s tight game until the end
that's the year he got the injury and lost momentum. still love this guy
What's insane is that Giroud nearly had a hat trick himself, he hit the bar with a brilliant long range strike towards the end, could have been 8-3
One of my favourite kits EVER!
One of the few I still own, love that we won the FA Cup in it too, it was a great kit to end the trophyless streak with
This team was so fun
to watch ❤
Walcott had so much potential
No he didn't. He had plenty of chances and he never came to anything. So he didnt have it
Whenever he picked form he got injured. He's was too unlucky. Around 2006 he was seen as the next big thing but injuries left so much to be desired.
@@knottastu He scored over 100 goals for Arsenal, mainly as a winger. Get a grip
Stuart shut up.
HP10 GAMINGMaster you know when someone just doesn’t have a clue what they are talking about😂
That goal from walcott, sensational man!
Only he manages to get fouled and always rise up so fast🤣
His trademark goal, done it plenty of times 👌
Against Chelsea.We remember.
Probably because defenders expect him to stay down for the penalty, they end up standing around or falling over him
Hello!!!
It's me!!!

I really miss Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Oxlade Chamberlain and most importantly Carl Jenkinson ❤
The og british core, busby babes got nothing on them
Carl was a very decent man and a die hard Gooner.
i think Wenger gave them too much protection. I must agree these guys are so decent and likeable unlike Nasri.
Finally. They upload the highlights of this game. Definitely in my top 5 Arsenal games 🔥
I think Walcott is one of the Arsenal legends.
Special Bricks TV NEVER
Walcott what a legend the most underrated player I’ve ever seen
Miss you. Theo
I miss Theo 😢 He reminds me of T.Henry. Even the ox deserves a mention
It's the number 14 kit probably. 😳

Just like Referee vs Chelsea

Maybe something wrong with Arsenal health management.

That was a game and a half. Jeez. We played some brilliant attacking football that day.
Walcott on fire
Crazy that none of the arsenal team (apart from Arteta) are at the club anymore
3 goals and 2 assists.
No matter what people say he was a true servant to our club.
100+ goals
50+ assists
Theo!! Theo!! Theo!!
Always remember this game ...such a memorable one
ARSENAL is a wonderful club. showing their self all over and over again
2012-13 Theo Walcott was the top player of the team. He carried the whole team. I really liked him.

I was at this game, a brilliant atmosphere and so glad to have been there
Great by Theo, some shocking defending by Gibbs
I was the steward behind the goal when Ba scored the freekick. I was so in shock I forgot to stand up straight away and assess the crowd 😂
Death , Taxes and An attacker left unmarked in Arsenal's box.

That's insane. 1-1, in the first half, meaning it was 6-2 (8 GOALS!) in just the second half
Walcott was a good finisher
I am a spurs fan and will admit this is one of the best premier league games ever 👏 !

the last goal was the best goal in Arsenal history imo
The match is very good
