@sonumbra awesome, i wasn't really asking about the chords per se but the vsts, because i probably only uses ionian and just chop samples nowadays and if i were to ever go into modes I'd prolly just rely on my feeling lol, i phrased it badly hahaha but it's really good to know abt the chords as well, thank you for telling me abt it and the vst. i find soft piano struggles to cut thru the mix sometimes having another option or even having it for layering purposes is a nice addition, thanks alot!!
@@ganyunyuu No worries haha I get what you mean. I used soft piano alot so I wanted to try something new. Intimate Grand Ambient is not too powerful but it cuts through while still sounding soft/muted and delicate which was really good for icy the theme of this piece. It's also pretty easy to explore new modes based on what feelings you're looking for through research. I used Lydian here which evokes feelings of wonder, expansiveness, and otherworldly, which was good for snowfall. I'll definitely be using it again soon hehe
@@sonumbra some ppl said that music theory strips the magic from the music but on the contrary you proved it wrong. Maybe I'll do my own research on it but let alone modes I'm still struggling to even hear n identify chords lmao. alright man consider me subbed, i wanna listen to more of your crafts since i fw scores adjacent music, keep making the music that you love, have a nice day!🎉
@@ganyunyuu yoo thanks, but I legit know nothing about music theory icl. I just searched up what the modes were and what they were good for and then chucked a bunch of stuff together. I don't even know what scores adjacent music means HAHAHA
So unique. and also beautiful.
i love how the melody wanders but always finds new, small ideas. it's like a bunch of little intricate unique snowflakes falling :)
@@lmosteverywhere mmm that’s a good analogy :^)
