I worked for GM in oshawa for 9 years. I saw them take the silverado and sierra to mexico and a year later ran commericals in canada where the hook line was true north strong. I said I would never buy one ever. I finally got to a place I could buy a truck, I knew it, had to be a f150. GM sells us out all the time for mexico, dodgee dosent have quality control nor is it american anymore. My F150 rolled off the line in dearborn michigan 220 miles from my home in Toronto canada and that matters to me. I love lookin at it and I can feel good I am supporting hard working blue collar workers like me
Production seems very efficient and fast. Please explain why thousands of BUILT trucks have not been delivered ON TIME. I ordered a truck, Jan. 8th and still have not received an update on why its been delayed or when it will ship.
@josipdolic6391 Not yet. I did, however, get a call from the dealer two days ago letting me know that the truck is awaiting shipping. They said 2-3 weeks to arrive to CA from Kansas City.
Where is my platinum with 702a package, 6.5 bed, powerboost engine, spray bedliner, hard tonneau cover? I put my order last November 2023 in my local dealer in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
Nice trucks but imagine you could produce a truck all year long an at the end of the production line of 2024s before a few weeks shut down your each given a truck.
Where is my 2024 F 150 King Ranch that was ordered in November of 2023, promised delivery from the dealer by March 1st 2024? No manufacturing date has been given!!! Lifetime Ford customer, beyond disappointed
Look at all those hard working robots doing all the work, cough. Sorry, I mean hard working Union people. Who in their right mind would work in those conditions......#OVERPAID
Wow, after personally touring a BMW production facility in Germany, what really stands out is how dirty and grimy the Ford factory is. If you watch any production line video for cars built in Germany, you'll see that the factory floor isn't covered in splotches of oil or grease, and the machinery doesn't make high-pitched screeching noises. You won't see workers just standing around doing nothing in the background. And you'll NEVER see someone carelessly drop a component into the vehicle like the lady does at 3:15. Yikes. Taking 2 extra seconds to lower the seat into position is not worth her time.
Also germany BMw doesn't produce as many vehicles as this f150 plant not even close machines run 24/7 here you need extra ppl on stand by....and BMW usa produces more than germany does by alot

I'm very surprised safety footwear is not required in Ford manufacturing plants lifting thousands of pounds next to and above people.
Believe me they do but nowadays some of these steel toed shoes can look like athletic shoes things have changed.
