1. It's good to hear the original voice actors back
2. This feels fresh but also has the vibe of early Ice Age films, especially the first and second one
3. At least they balanced the amount of screens and practical animatronics

jesus christ, is this all theme parks make now? rides that are dominated by screens? seriously, more than half of this ride is just sitting in front of a screen. how incredibly boring. the animatronics are pretty nice too and if the ride had more of that this could be pretty good.

All things considered it looked like a fun ride even with all the screens.
I can’t be the only one who knows that’s not Ray Romano and Denis Leary playing as Manny/Manfred and Diego respectively.
Hearing "We are Family" from those kids is quite beautiful.
Where do they sing it?

I appreciate the amount of physical sets and set pieces, and can understand the use of screens
Thank you. People dont notice that the RV frm oceanering is the one that can have lots of motions and react with the media screen. This is not typical static moving slow trackless dark ride like etf. The ride will be moving very fastly jumping scene to scene
I don't understand the over use of screens. Can you explain why you "understand" how the ride is 79% screens? Did they run out of money? Do we not deserve better? Explain please. 🤔🤔🤔

This reminds me of a Ice Age darkride that used to be in Movie Park Germany.
That reminds me of a looney tunes dark ride that used to be in the same fking building :D
@oosthakker Yeah, i believe they re themed it to the ice age adventure ride around 2004, but unfortunately they left the ride in great disrepair.
When i was there in 2010 or 2011 a lot of animatronics and scenes where looking dirty or defective and I believe they left the whole building abandoned around 2012 or 2013. And they removed all Ice Age references because they lost the license for the IP.
A little sad
This is a franchise that will never die...
Until it did a couple years ago when Disney shuttered the studio

They did make a movie that was on disney+ just without blue sky studios called the ice age adventures of buck wild

That looked rough. The animatronics were slow and rigid at best, and the Manny voice was waaay off. Really have no idea why they would make this ride other than the IP recognition.
Ice age theme land is the largest land in genting skyworlds. Sure the main ride would be dark ride and coaster.
We would have liked to of seen more practical sets in this one!
I always hate screens in dark rides.
