I Love this game. My wife got it for me as a christmas present and it was a great gift. About player count- I would say with 3 players it gets easier after a while, because if you think/calculate (as Jānis said) you can track what is going on, so for me sweet spot would be at least 4. But I agree that 2 is not the way (so then better with 3), and with 5, after halfway, it gets more challenging (but I enjoy that, as an achievement for myself 😁). The worst thing for me though, is if your player group changes, because you have to start from beginning (cause others have to learn basics) and I have done that at least 4 times, which is tough, cause I have not yet reached the end... Damn, maybe one day. Still, as always, great quality on review guys and keep on going.
My addition to negatives would be too slow progress in campaign, I balieve, Crew would do with just 25 missions and bit more rapid difficulity increase.
What trick taking games do you recommend at 2 players? The 2 that come to mind are Fox in the forest and Claim. Haven't played either but they look fun!
Have played both and like both quite a bit, even if the artwork for Claims is not for everyone. Not really a trick tacking game (it is a climbing game) I and my wife enjoyed Haggis.
You did not show the meter this time when giving your score so I didn't really know where fantastic is on that scale :D is it before or after Must Have? Or did you change the rating system altogether?
"Risk it to get a biscuit" lol. Nice examples 😁👍

Waiting for a video from 'country side' - boardGAME hangOVER with parents :)
For achievement junkies playing with five players is definetly a must. Four players seem too easy afterwards... :D
Enjoying your content! Keep it up and the subs will come!
Much appreciated!

Oh, happens. Our scale goes Hangover - Ok - Really Good - Fantastic - Must-have
we play spades at my in laws....this game should be a natural progression from spades right?
That would be a level up, yes.
