Phille806 mentioned about the hand spray that was disconnected to make room for the filter control valve assembly. You have not mentioned what to do with the faucet end of the hand spray. It will pour water down the cabinet uninterrupted.
I installed this under the sink and now my water pressure is horrible. I may have inserted the wrong tube to the bottom of the T connector. Does it matter which tube is used? Also, can I cut any of the tubes so everything fits well under my sink? Thank you.
Okay, so, the spray attachment has been removed and disconnected. Now when this entire system is hooked up, it leaks from the center faucet connection where the spray attachment was connected. What do I need to have this running?
I have been reading up on this issue. So depending on your faucet, you need a cap. So youd unscrew the hose from the faucet (middle of the 3 connections under your faucet) and screw on a 3/8ths cap. My faucet unfortunately has a nipple/barb style connection. I cant cap it, I have to buy a new faucet without the option for a sprayer. If you are in my situation,you will have to as well.

Sylvia, the control valve needs to be installed. GE Appliances are approved by UL to specific specifications. Any alteration to the design could possibly result in a safety concern, product failure, poor performance, and void the warranty. Can the control valve be installed horizontally? For example, can it be installed out of the front or side of the sink cabinet?
mine came with no installation instructions thats why i am here to learn how to install it..
The filtered water flow is low. The unfiltered is regular. Why is this? HELP!

Installation is "easy" if everything under your sink fits what you get out of the box. Otherwise, you're screwed.
