I own an fj09 and am more than happy with it. Havent got much rider experiance on similar engine sizes so havent got much to compare with. That might explain why i cant pin point the weaknesses of this bike.
It's like any motorcycle - not perfect. But for the money, has a lot of features and power. I've owned and ridden a lot of bikes of all types and price ranges.I did a few things to it which it seems I do on all the bikes I buy and it makes it better for not a lot of $$. I think this bike offers a good bang for the buck for most riders.
Seems a Great bike but some concerns have been raised re seat & screen. My concern ,as a traveller,is the amount of luggage. Why haven't you got a top box ?As one who travels 3/4 weeks at a time the panniers aren't enough.Any comments as to why you can't use a top box ? Frank.
The video starts well with knowledgeable, frank comments. It's what they DON'T tell you that casts doubt on everything else. First, the seat is terrible. Very hard, very thin. One of the worst seats on any Japanese street bikes ever. Second, the windscreen is awful. It's junky, wobbly and creates a lot of turbulence. Third, the pillion is narrow and uncomfortable. Fourth, larger guys will find their kneecaps jammed into the tank sides. Fifth... the fueling, while better than the FZ-09 is still bad -- very bad. The cut-off on off-throttle is still there and a simple re-map won't fix it. Lastly, the rear shock has insufficient damping. This is a bike with a good frame, and a superb motor. But the fueling is still questionable, the bike looks and feels junky, and some elements (screen and seat) are completely intolerable. I'm not going to put much stock in other Cycle Torque reviews after I rode the FJ-09 (as it's designated in the USA) and then watched this review and thought "WT heck... this is BS". Is there any reviewer that tells the truth?
Thank God someone made a review of this bike including a passenger ... two thumbs up!
Muito legal, principalmente por mostrar a garupa. Importante para que as companheiras dos motociclistas se motivem a passear juntas.

the passenger pegs are way to high , even the girl in the demo does not sit comfortable and she is a small girl .
+theklrdude oo Kerrie actually found it quite comfortable, although you're right, she is a petite woman.
$15,000 with crap suspension.
this accent gets on my nerves!!
