- Nemo the Mormon faced trial in the Mormon church today for telling the truth of the corruption of the Mormon leadership and internal dissentions and apostasy within. I respond with my view.
Shame on the lower leaders who refuse to push back on their seniors when they know truth demands it.
THey have no moral fibre or backbone to do so. They are owned by the upper eschelons of power.

@tinman3586 ,that's true, sadly, but the damage done to the local leaders may, in the long run, be greater than the damage inflicted on Nemo. Nemo at least has community and a clear conscience.
Time will reward his heart of truth. The Church now fails.
I'm curious if they're deciding to discipline him now because he spoke against the Church's efforts in Fairview, Texas.
I suspect that simply HAS to be part of it. I mean the man FLEW himself to Texas to confront the false doctrine of the taller temple spires. THAT screams integrity.

It's so hard to be betrayed, and the church has betrayed Nemo. The LDS church is a man-made church ever since the prophet Joseph Smith was murdered. And everything Nemo has presented is true, and that info just proves how the church is governed by men, not Christ. Wolves hidden in sheep clothing. ❤ you Nemo, hold your head high as you are honest and have integrity. God knows.
The LDS church is a man-made church from the very beginning. There was no "first vision," no angel Moroni, no golden plates, no Nephites, and no Lamanites. It is ALL made up.

How much does this second anointing cost? It is the love of money that is the root of evil. That is in 1 Timothy 6:10. Yes, it sounds like a Kangaroo court if the charges aren't told to the defendant. Isn't there some where in the Doctrine and Covenants that takes about wolves in sheep's clothing? " Beware of false Prophets, Jesus taught, " which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. " (Matthew 7:15, also see 3 Nephi 14:15. I believe Russell M. Nelson is a profit and not the prophet. Years ago I heard about the child abuse that was going on in Idaho. I was just appalled and it was the last straw for me. Wouldn't G-d have told Russell or does it land on def ears? Nemo I wish you the best. Just be open to receiving the spirit, acknowledge it and be thankful after receiving. It will happen more often as you are thankful. That is the way it has been for me.
Always being open to changing your mind is one lesson i wish the whole world would learn.
Thanks for covering this. I believe you are right BYP Nemo was indeed traumatised but also he was retaining himself from saying anything too soon… emotions involved, waiting on a decision from leaders… he’s very careful and considerate…

I would love to see a garden established with a bust of all these brave truth seekers and truth tellers along with a short biography to honor and respect these martyrs for their contributions in shining a light on issues and their efforts to promote integrity.

This is not a tragedy. What is a tragedy is how y'all are being a bunch of big baby drama queens and victims of your own choices. Nemo, like many, don't support or agree with the LDS church or the doctorine they teach, so it makes zero sense for Nemo to be a member of it.
@@charlybucket2691 I agree, but it's also true that Nemo tells true facts about Mormonism, while the church itself tells lies. In that sense, Nemo is like a Martin Luther.
Also, as far as I know, Kerry Shirts is still a member of record of the LDS church.

Nemo was one of those guys who took only just the oil that was his own lamp and had relied on what was in his own lamp. He didn't take the extra oil that the wise had taken and so the oil in Nemo's lamp had run out on him once the lamp had burned up all the oil. He knew the oil was getting down low in the lamp but he did nothing about it. These are not lamps that sustain themselves forever with an endless oil supply and burn and burn and burn. These are lamps instead that have to be continually refilled up
with oil during the journey. That is why the wise took along with them the extra oil with their lamps instead of only taking just the oil that was in their own lamps so the wise were able to complete the journey with no oil crisis while all the foolish virgins crashed out with an oil shortage crisis and then blamed the wise for the crisis instead of going back to the marketplace to correct the problem going on with the oil..

BYP is saying that Truth matters most. The Church rejects the telling of truths if it is embarrassing.
