Which songs are you surprised to see on this list, and are there any you can't believe didn't make it in? I know I couldn't believe there wasn't any Duran Duran or Pet Shop Boys!
My hubby and I love these 80’s quizzes! So much so we went over to the in-laws and had them do the quiz too LOL! He’s specifically requesting a Depeche Mode quiz. Pretty specific but I figured it’s worth a shot!🤣 thanks for the great content.
Thank you, it's so nice to see people enjoying them and sharing with others 😊 I absolutely love Depeche Mode, so I'd be all for a quiz just on them... but it might be a bit too specific... for now. Excellent taste though 😁
Hi👍awesome quiz, the wife and I as a team effort got four wrong and the funniest part was both of us in unison shouting out ' Rene and Ronata-Save your love' 🤣embarrassing but there's only us here thankfully. Both of us were surprised there was no Madness or Prince. Thankyou that was great, though youve made us both feel old🤣👍
Brilliant sadly i knew most of them lol and yes there were some dire songs but that's true of most decades at the age of 72 i enjoy listening to songs that evoke crazy memories , and having children and grandchildren i will listen to new stuff and surprisingly like some of that too, keep up the good work and keep my brain active
Blue Monday is one of my all time favourite songs. it still is the highest selling UK 12 inch single. I was surprized that Madness didn't turn up on the list or Guns 'n' Roses.
So you're telling me that Agadoo is the only "song" out of all that sh!te that the BBC didn't consider credible? Seriously though, true story. I happened to have my vinyl's in the back pockets of the front seats of my car when I picked up 4 Czechoslovakian hitchhikers on the M62 in 1991. I was in the British army at the time and they were genuinely astounded that a soldier could have an anti-war record (Two Tribes 12") in his collection. I was reminded of the "Imagine a country so free" line in Coming to America

I'm amazed that None of the famous Michael Jackson songs are there: Thriller, Bad of Billie Jean
@MrXyzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz it's shocking isnt it. I can only assume the albums sold better than the singles here. Pure guess though.
Thank you for the Quiz

🤣 Well I'm very sorry for making you feel old 😆
I'm quite the Madness fan so that's another one I was surprised about!

That's a truly wonderful perspective on it, thank you 😊
Dear Dear, some of these were dire, what were we thinking Even worse I knew all of them!!
😂 I think this may be a common thought process for this quiz!
🤣🤣yeah I know we're all sad,but I'd love to go back👍
Just "some"? really?
@@martindunstan8043 oh absolutely!
@@arthurjarrett1604 ah c'mon,I know you're humming Agadoo right now🤣👍

It's a good song to have as a favourite, and that's a great little stat!
25/50
96/101
Impressive as always 👏 thank you!
No One Night in Bangkok by Murrayhead?
That would fit in quite well with some of the other songs in here!
I'm surprised that Band Aid wasn't included in the best selling songs of the '80s.

Not only is that quite the story, that's also quite the memory! At least it wasn't an Agadoo vinyl 😁
@@SHQuiz Or Wham, or...
@@arthurjarrett1604 😆
And only 1 Abba song?
I assume it's because they were primarily around in the 70's...they'd probably feature a lot if I do one at some point for that decade
@@SHQuiz please do, we love the 70´s
Where the hell dobyi7 getvyour numbers from?? How was there only one Michael Jackson song and it wasnt't his most successful of the 80's
The list is from the Official Charts Company. It is worth remembering that this is based in the UK, even though it's still surprising!
