I'm out and sober now, been in prison three times will never go back again as long as I keep staying sober from drinking, Thanks for covering us we don't have voices in there still bro. I appreciate all y'all who are fighting for inmates even though I ain't one no more. It's abuse and chemicals that make people inmates. For like three or four months in Yuma La Paz unit Arizona department of corrections, they didn't have money to fix our AC for a year, so we endured temperatures in the '90s daily for a couple months. It is what it is we broke the law right but still we're already being tortured You don't need a torturous more by that

The rules set in place having to do with the AC. were put in place at a time when the world was not as hot as today.
Even the dogs at the dog care buildings have AC.

I lived there for a while, believe me, very few inmates complain about stuff they can't change, the store sells fans in prison, if you feel bad about the situation, buy the underprivileged inmates some fans on store 😊
Seagoville, Tx fed prison 115degrees in summer time we recorded staff scabies bedbugs. The united states is treating people like animals also. Some units are ac but some not at Seagoville,tx

Yeah you right, but each time this prisoners ask for medical assistance, because they are going true dehydration, it end up costing more money than just keeping them on a neutral or cooler temp. Only good thing is “creates jobs on the medical area”, which is what some people been milking for decades
. Prison is supposed to be a miserable , awful place. It teaches you: Don't break the law...or you go back.
i dont care what they get, but i know for a fact that it cost millions to give medical assistance to all the dehydration cases during the whole year, each time they need IV it requires a few guards, nurses , doctors and the medical materials, when you do the math, its better to keep them chilled LMAO

i just got released last week and i never noticed it being hot inside my 6 x 9 cell ,ever . i recall putting in several request forms to my co to "please , go a little easy on this ac in here , its summertime and i can't even wear my new bikini in here ?"

Each time they need medical assistance it cost way more than keeping them chilled LMAO, people are so easy to fool when it comes to tax money. Remember that this men and woman gonna come out one day, might as well offer them real rehabilitation, instead of scamming the citizens. Edit: when i say medical assistance i mean for all the cases of dehydration and the people and medical equipment involved in the process

I worked in a prison in a north east state. Even when the temperatures were only in the 80's it was unbearable.

Well it costs all tax payers $40,000 a year per prisoner. Now being a criminal violating, murdering, stealing and ECT being in prison is not supposed to be a luxury camp. Pass the caviar please. NO!
