Bullet was the first band that got me into Metal(core), right when Scream Aim Fire had just released, after my distant half-brother showed em to me on one of the very few occasions I got to see him. Partly I think I only pretended to like them, so my brother would get an interest in me. That wasn't the case though, I became a full on metalhead after that.
So while I rarely ever listen to them anymore (Architects has become my favorite band by now), they still hold a special place in my heart. And now that my brother is 29 and I'm 23, and nobody can forbid us from hanging out anymore, that place in my heart is more special than ever.
So glad to see they're back somewhat closer to their old style. You have no idea how happy I am.
If this album is on par with Scream Aim For, The Poison, and Venom, this will smack
Replace The Posion for Gravity and its going to be Venom & Gravity but heavier vocal wise.
@@MidnightSky1821 ik matt said that a few years ago (that it would be a mix between venom and gravity) but based on this song, it's clear that that won't happen. This song doesn't sound like Gravity or Venom in any way.

Gravity was a great album. This song is awesome but a little too heavy for me, bullet never disappoints tho

I was literally waiting for the solo at the end to close it. It was the only part that was a letdown just because bfmv have always had sick ass solos
Apparently there's quite a few tracks with solos in the new album, they said so in one of the album trailers :)

I think a guitar solo would've felt out of place in this song, would've thrown the dark heavy creepy vibe off

This song made my day. Matt said in an interview that the upcoming album will be 60% rawrs and 40% clean like this song. So hyped
The track reminds me of a strange mix of Trivium's groove, some of Static-X's vocals, and some feel from Venom (old album).
It has that normal 'BFMV' feel, but mixes a couple other bands influence into theirs, and it isn't half bad

I don't know, the chorus gives me kind of of some deftones vibes a bit bouncy groove almost against a very chino pissed-angsty scream...the verse is very modern though kinda djent-y

This song absolutely slaps. Love to see they've incorporated some of those modern metal elements like the pitch shifting and proper chonkerz riffs into their sound 👌
I missed the catchy cleans for the chorus too, but it's nice that they're bringing a heavier sound.
I always enjoyed the clean chorus and the unique guitar sound they had before temper temper.
For me at least, unless the guitar becomes more traditional bfmv, I'm just not all that Into it. Maybe it was the way they balanced all of the instruments where they are all distinct without overtaking one another.
This is like the adult version of the poison I've been waiting for for years!!

i have the privilege of working with matts dad and hes been hyping me up for this track all week. definitely delivers.
While I like the more melodic singing that BFMV do, this song is still great with vocal screams you can make out, fantastic drumming and catchy rifts. Vocally BFMV always do whatever they want and you can never (for the most part) predict what part will be sung and what part will have vocal scream. It's what appeals to me the most about them.

This song is awesome honestly. Alot of people have it on repeat, me included. But I also love how the song itself like the main riff just sounds like a breakdown. And I love the part where the instruments stop as he's saying "bring out the knives" and then the beat drops.
I was at the Download Pilot so missed the Friday drop of this, first time I heard it was when they played it live on the Sunday and ripped everyone's fucking head off with it. Can't believe I'm excited for a new BFMV album in 2021.

I love this this crazy AGRESSIVE side to Bullet! This more than makes up already for gravity, and this is coming from someone who actually enjoys temper temper!
Prior to gravity I loved pretty much almost every song the band made! If the material in the new record is as consistent as this Beast of a track, outside of a few tracks in gravity I will be back, to basically loving almost everything they've ever made!
