A lot of our clients ask questions about jumping and we always refer them to this video!! I love the FAQ section of this video! When clients ask about how to fix jumping, I always follow up with the question "Is the puppy on leash when visitors come?" The answer is always "no". Thank you for impressing in this video how important it is to have the dog on leash to prevent rehearsing the unwanted behavior!!
This is great. We’re working on this with our 14 week old puppy as he’s starting to jump up now. We’ve obviously reinforced the behaviour at some point. It’s going to be hard trying to stop it first thing in the morning when he’s so excited to see everyone as they enter the room one by one!!
oh good I started doing this with my puppy and its great because I can do it with out having to instruct the other person, great when they approach and pet before i can talk to them.
