What l’ve noticed about these African dances is that they are very simple and can be learned very quickly

Some dances of the Ga and Ewe people are straightforward. Some are not. But, respectfully, I'd be careful calling even these particular dances "simple." I'd also be very careful boxing the MANY dances of Africa in or assuming they are just dances.
