Great project. I even like how it looked with just the bronze and copper. What a great piece. I loved watching the process. You definitely pulled it off.
Herbie is a lucky kid. I really like the way you take discarded things and make them beautiful and interesting. Ooo, there's a little life lesson in that, wasn't there? Also, loved the cameo of your fella.
I want the new bonding boss in clear. I have been wondering if you could just paint with the patina paint. Now I know! Thank you for always teaching me something.
Have always loved this look! I did a big filing cabinet in a similar way a few years ago before I had heard of DBP. I thought you had to use the patina spray though. I like it better with the painted effect and likely less corrosive than the Dulux one I used!
Wow, this one played out like a thriller! Beautiful end result! The wax just brought it all together.
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much! I loved the copper on its own too! Would have looked stunning just left at that stage
Great to see this technique on metal. I like seeing how different items can be painted.

Haha they do!
Fake stuff for fake people.
