REALLY bad decision for Spike to tell Ponk and Rarity to leave, the former has battled Twilight for songs and the latter was literally the one who FREED him. Kind of sad this is your last cover of Pibby Apocalypse though, considering we never know what happened to the other characters. Nevertheless, this is a really excellent cover! I think I know why Spike didn't win, spike would win the battle if he used his fire breath but there is a consequence for this Spike's magical fire would burn the glitch down but since Twilight was corrupted she will die before spike would have a chance to save her Not only that since the darkness is like liquid, there is a chance that it is contaminated with petroleum fuel from gumball's world and family guy's world so if he used his fire breath, there's a chance that the castle will explode killing both of them Same goes with Darwin if he used his full potential and abilities not only he could beat the glitch but he will kill gumball as he won't be able to survive Darwin's attack,so he tries to save gumball without his powers but lost the battle Spike tried to save Twilight without his fire breath but when was he was half corrupted the glitch removed his powers making him weaker and more vulnerable and got corrupted I hope this helps for one's who are confused why didn't Spike win the battle or Darwin
