So this is Earl Strickland Presents #40 apparently. When you update the title, you could include the full name also and correct the spelling. It's Oliwia Czuprynska, you can see it inlaid/inscribed in her cue at 08:09 :)
Selected random thoughts i had while watching: 1) Czuprynska seems to have an uncanny knack for finding tight windows. Here, she does it again, for position on the pink 4: 55:45 (6 seconds duration) 2) No one competes to lose. But, to me, it always seems that the women may be sorry that they lost, but they are never sorry that their opponent won. 1:02:07 (12 seconds duration) _And, i _*_like_*_ that._ 3) 34:23 (18 seconds duration) The TD has yet to shake some their usual bad habits: cutting away before all balls have stopped rolling and we can see 'shape'; showing shots from shallow angles that don't show true relationships between balls and table; spending too much time televising the players instead of the game; and using close-ups for when a player shoots, and missing the actual action, 50:15 (8 seconds duration). But, considering that they used more than stationary cameras, we saw a lot better camerawork here, this time, than we usually see.
Earl, don't know if you read these comments but loved hearing you talk about straight pool. Few play straight pool anymore except us older players. Learned to play pool playing straight back in the 70's. You learn the nuances of fineness position, tough side pocket shots and how to really thin a ball thus making cut shots most players don't see. I'm sure you agree. Great commentary.
What a great match. I really hope some one interprets Earls commentary of this match for both players. He likes both of there games. And that says a lot
Another great commentary and analysis session by the one and only Earl The Pearl. Never put him with another host, it would be a distraction from EARL sharing his vast knowledge. He's pretty funny too.
Rodney Morris definitely did. For consistency. (And, he wasn't alone.) His point was that where the cue ball goes matters in shots on every other ball, and it matters in shots on the last ball, too. For example, you certainly wouldn't want CB to _scratch_ on the 9. Would you?
@@marginality270 Well I would say that where the CB goes matters on almost ALL balls (not just on "every other ball") but in this specific example I'm pointing to, I really don't see the need. I mean it's completely impossible to scratch from there ... (unless you really have no idea what you are doing and hit it 1000mph for no reason). It's almost dead straight! Maybe it's just a matter of creating good cueing/aiming habits? I don't know but I'm curious..
@@Raceto9 _"...I would say that where the CB goes matters on almost ALL balls (not just on "every other ball")..."_ (In confusing, ambiguous, often-contradictory U.S. English -- which is my first language -- the meaning i intended in this case for "every other ball" is: 'every ball other than 9'; *not:* 'alternating balls'.) I believe this is very close to what Rodney was saying: that it's important to plan where you send CB after _every_ shot; regardless of whether or not there's a need. _"Maybe it's just a matter of creating good cueing/aiming habits?"_ ...and good _planning_ habits, too.
@@marginality270 Yeah I guess for habits it makes sense. It shoes Earl's dedication cause I think I would relax on a straight shot like that one and not put any side.
I miss watching my idol Earl I am from Philippines but i love his competativeness..the way he battle any opponent he faces even his rude attitude he is is one of the greatest ive ever seen
Wish there was the original commentary for the event and not just a voice over once the match was played out, I get he's one of if not the best in the world but the 2nd guessing every shot and monotone voice is bugging the life out of me.
@ 31:38,, earl mentioned efrens name..i know he meant it as a joke and i think earl is also a nice guy to hang out with based on his commentary,,well putting aside his temper..
Please get earls ass off the mic. We know you’ll have to carry him since he probably has a ankle brace, knee brace, egg crate wrapped around his torso and some kind of helmet on to commentate
Thanks to Earl for the excellent commentary. His love and knowledge of the game is priceless.
Earl has incredible knowledge of the game, his commentary always makes it interesting.
True
What makes the break at 18:53 a foul break? It appears she hit 1 ball first to me as the second ball back barely moved.
Very nice work from Earl the old boy. I am only 57 and started playing at 53 and love it.

Another great commentary! I am a big Siming Chen fan, hopefully you will cover one of her matches one day.
Earl does a great commentary on these videos you get to learn from the game and him at the same time
When there are decisions to make, Earl has two or 3 choices faster than you can blink. Savant level folks and pure wisdom coming forth.

50:04 the best part ;)
Earl talks himself into a frenzy.
He's chomping at the bit to play competitive pool.
looking forward to this december :)
You can tell how much Earl loves Efren. The only player that is always on his mind.
I've been quite hard on Earl but realized I was wrong. The world needs more like him. No nuance, no spin, just speaks what he's thinking.
True
Great commentary! Especially Earl's tips for amateurs about how to play shots.
thanks
Great job Earl. "I don't know alot about these girls" got me 😂 😂
Dam, Stricklands comments are like your there. Another great job.
Great job commentating by Earl yet again, love when he explains those master level details... and the ladies played well also- nice match.
Great commentary Earl. Enjoy every aspect of it. + your humor.
Another great commentary and analysis session by the one and only Earl The Pearl. Never put him with another host, it would be a distraction from EARL sharing his vast knowledge. He's pretty funny too.
New drinking game: every time Earl mentions straight pool during his commentary, take a shot.
Earl is the best ever commentator in pool history. I believe people's also learning
Best commentary by the Pearl so far. Thank you.
Okay black out!! Earl the best commentator!
5:07 I'm curious, would anybody else than Earl put side on this shot? And why?

Yes earl. We love some Fefilova.

over/under on how many times Earl heard their names before he got it half right?
great comment ! Nice work Earl :)
Thank you kindly!
Thanks again guys! 👍🏻
Earl's the best pool commentator
earl: straight pools a hard game when you're trying to run 100 balls everyday.
me: yup.
love you Earl.. i'm always been a big fan.

Earl "The Pearl" is retired now from the pro circuit? Just asking.
@@lggamerzgen4762 yeah he is retired sir
@@kabilyarhustlin3634 Then he is arguing a pool player, just kidding.
Earl's amusing thoughts on golf crack me up
Ha ha me too. I was laughing out loud 🤣
Great Job Earl👍
Earl is the best commentator
Earl Strickland is a national treasure.
36:45 is it weird that I kind of agree with this?
Margaret has improved ALOT since this match 2 years ago

The lucky pipe stick. Love it
The hell with those golfers
I’m just here for Earl
Whoever agreed, thought of and approved the 3 point rule should get three life sentences. Maddening. This world has lost common sense and logic.
Lol, put golfers on a shot clock, love it!
Pretty 😍 fefilova
Earl really must be very bad at golf 🤣🤣🤣 jokes aside great commentary!
the star of the match is Earl
Earl, you’re too much…lol. Luv the golf commentary…lol
A show
i like Olivia !!!
Earl is a pearl
Lol I feel like Earl is becoming slightly unhinged, bring back straight pool competitions please.
WHAT IS THIS THING, LOOKS LIKE A PIPE OF SOMETHING 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks to god. We have a nice and pure personalities like you earl. We’re lucky.
Please get earls ass off the mic. We know you’ll have to carry him since he probably has a ankle brace, knee brace, egg crate wrapped around his torso and some kind of helmet on to commentate

FefilOva
Level of play is a little embarrassing, great commentary as always though
Instead of showing some lady soccer, give Earl a Match with Efren against himself commentating please....
I wish someone else commentated because Earl is the worst!
commentary sucks. Arm chair incredible joke.
Do you realize who is commentating?
