I follow you for years. How can you keep so many pieces in your memory? That is besides your extraordinary ability for your instrument.
Omg. I am like in love with ragtime songs. I just wish there was someone who taught it well...Earned a sub from me. Keep doing what you are doing.
If you've not done it before, becoming accurate with the ragtime left hand stride patterns takes way longer than a week. Most piano music doesn't call for such long jumps for sustained time. Not to say you won't make good progress in a week if you put your mind to it, but from zero to playing it well, that's asking a lot.
Jonny may teaches rag. He plays well (I like Kristen's style, but his songs often are way more difficult) but I haven't paid for his course. Teaches many styles, but I think ragtime is his main jam. I would just find music for a not insanely difficult piece and take the time you need to learn it.

All of your songs are incredible, but this one in particular nails the classic Scott Joplin feel. Your channel is definitely my favourite new discovery since I found PMJ last year. The arrangements are amazing. Ragtime is an often forgotten art (and one that got me through my awkward high school years a decade ago). Thank you for making great music.

Cool the way there are rules alot of songs can be made into rags if you know the rules and play around a bit. Takes a fair chunk of time and expereince that does! Like boogie woogie almost any song can be ragged or boogie woogied, so good for instantly striking a rapport with people this stuff. Rag seems alot harder to work with than boogie woogie though!
