Hi, I would suggest you to look for accommodation with EPC Ato D. If you go for E or F you will end up spending a lot of money in Gas and Electricity bills as it is not insulated.
I suspect the first house you viewed might have EPC E.

The law in the UK prevents Landlords from evicting tenants with a child(ren), hence those questions. Concerning smoking and pets, it just cost more to get rid of the smells left behind when the tenant leaves, extra cost for the landlords. You hang in there, can see this vlog was a month ago and fingers crossed 🤞 you should have settled.

@@joyitohan in addition children are noisy, some apartments are not ideal for children based on how it is located, like a top floor apartment with older tenants beneath would be problematic
Don't blame anyone, UK is the same like other countries, is not milk and honey things are very difficult around the world. 🌍
It's not easy getting an apartment in UK, but don't worry with time you'll get one

Sis.I understand you. God is with you, continue to trust him. The wait is not the easiest but when God brings the apartment of his choice, you'll be really glad that you had waited amd trusted in him. The struggles of before would not even be remembered again or felt.

@@joyitohan Ofcourse♥️. Waiting on God had led to I and Family getting an apartment close to a church that provided every furniture we needed for free. And the rental price of the apartment was more affordable than most of the other apartments we were chasing after. We didn't have to chase this one, they had agreed to give us the home after a little time which had felt suspicious. But what God can't do does not exist.

Please try going through Open Rent. You should find an apartment through Open Rent pretty quickly.

This is what my sister went through ohhh..they stayed 3weeks in Airb&b.and finally they found a place..they stay in manchester tho..
Its so difficult to get accomodation in UK..
My sis almost cried.. Omorh its draining..
If u dnt have a job,you cant get accomodation cox they feel u cant pay ur rent,and also u cant get a job if u dnt have permanent accomodation..thats the code in UK
