I first got my nose on an Oud/Rose in 2007. Tom Ford Noir De Noir. I wasn't ready for Oud/Rose then.😂 Then came Bond no 9 New York Oud in 2011. I fell in love with the combination. I went back and fell in love with the Tom Ford. Those are the first 2 I remember.

I recently discovered a rose/Oud combo that just resonated with me.....Rose of Dangerous Flamenco by Simone Andreoli. Need to try that MFK.

Armani preve /Rose D'arabie 2010, bond #9/New York oud 2011, montale /black aoud 2007, roja dove/ aoud 2012 all came before oud satin mood, my most stand out not redundant oud so far is frederic malle the moon.

They’re very different from each other so they aren’t redundant. Get samples to determine if you should have both.

I believe what peaked my interest before oud satin mood had to be "New York Oud" by bond no 9. Sadly discontinued gem of a fragrance.

Try Oud Satin Mood EDP. Oud rose scents are all pretty much unisex. However, the sweeter or more fruity ones could come across more feminine.

Hypnotizing Fire is great, but it’s not an oud rose fragrance.
