- #adsorption #absorption
Absorption is the process in which a fluid is dissolved by a liquid or a solid (absorbent). Adsorption is the process in which atoms, ions or molecules from a substance (it could be gas, liquid or dissolved solid) adhere to a surface of the adsorbent. Adsorption is a surface-based process where a film of adsorbate is created on the surface while absorption involves the entire volume of the absorbing substance.

Easy & funny way to know the difference
Thank you couldn’t of explained it better.
I was expecting him to poke the pie in his face to demonstrate adsorption. Maybe the way he explained it was better.

actually very helpful
Thank you!
thats how it should be thought
too kind! i thought so exactly too! let's make science to be communicate more interestingly!

You are most welcome!
Why is the eggtart fluorescent ?
Is it proteins from the egg white that are fluorescing?
For the same reason that your finger tips glowed when they came in contact with the glass.
Something to do with the glass, lighting running/refracting through the glass?
@@OGPatriot03 Very good observation! Do you think this is about 'wetness' = moisture? or pressure?
@@chemfunman I think Moisture, if I'm right about the light then I can just imagine some water droplets on the surface being good places for the light to bounce out.
Makes me wonder about the index of refraction of both materials and how they interact, maybe the water makes a very smooth connection to the glass which would allow the light inside to refract into the water where it'll redirect and easily jump out?
wow, thanks guys for the demonstration
Thank you
A great way of explaining. I might not remember the definition but will remember what you guys demonstrated lol

Klein problem.
Thank you 😂😂😂
Great! Glad you like it :-)
So basicly absorption is 3-D, and adsorption is 2-D?
Yes, 2D is more surface, while 3D is more 360 interactions.
No need advance video editing knowledge or time consuming process for informative text on video. just use glass!! omg why I haven't thought of that.
