I've got a weird relationship with this band, on one hand, Feel Nothing was one of the first metalcore songs that my wife not only tolerated, but actively enjoyed along with me, and even played when I wasn't around. On the other, Landon still wrote and recorded "Cum Captain"....And I'm not really sure how I feel about that. Divide was sick, glad to hear them getting a bit heavier again.
We’ve done every single from it and had the album for 3 weeks now. We never do full albums and aren’t gonna react to songs we’ve heard that don’t have clips. It just takes too much time from giving other bands exposure.
Kenneth, what'd you think? I had a brief playthrough and I don't think the full release has really changed my mind on how I feel about this direction they're heading in. With FTTWTE I could feel them pushing into this electronica landscape with grungy effects, and I wasn't really a fan. I'll admit, New Moral Low Ground sounds great and I do enjoy it, but everything else was just not doing anything for me. I hate that it took me Holy Hell to really get into Architects, and right after; their whole sound changed drastically.
