    This is fascinating. Have you been able to work up the video on how to ink and print with it? If not, perhaps just a brief explanation. I would really like to try it. Thanks so much for sharing all that you do. I have found your channel and blog to be about the most creative and interesting. Laura

      Yes - the downside is compulsory crisp consumption!

    I love this idea. I'm currently looking at Dry point and printing intaglio at my Printmaking course and we look at Collagraph next term. I can see this being a good technique to try. Thank you for posting

    Those prints are super co. Never would have guessed they were from chip bags and other trash! :-)

    lol, great idea, but where is my iron? I gave up ironing years ago!!! But I know it's somewhere around all my stuff, will have a go of this when I find it.

      I know what you mean - I only use my iron for crisp packets and batik!!

    Fascinating! I don’t eat chips or crisps as they are called there....but I may need to get some and experiment!

      I hope you don't start eating junk because of me! you could always rummage through a rubbish bin - or ask a friend to save them. It is amazing how many foil packs are around once you start noticing them.

    This is so cool. Thank you for making this video. I would love to see how you ink these?

      Hi Jess, thanks for your comments. You are right inking up can really change how a print turns out - I have more videos planned to show this.

    Wondering...do you then affix the crisp plate to a rigid surface for inking/ printing? So fun!

    • @TheCuriousPrintmaker
      @TheCuriousPrintmaker  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mary, I didn't fix the plate to anything - just inked it up on its own. This means you get the irregular shape and you can ink both sides and get two different prints from one plate. If you wanted to fix it down I think you'd need strong glue, possibly something like evostick?
