@@CZProductions You can still get level 4 traders just fine if you have a life lol, it is kinda a skill issue, I work the standard 40 hours and have social stuff and still hit it every wipe
@@ChaseMercer Depends on if you play other games or not. I've been playing since 2017 and this was the first wipe I got Max traders, and it still took 300ish raids with a 60% survival rate and a 7kd. If you're worse, play other games, or have more of a life it could easily take significantly more raids.
And 9x21 BT is also at lv4 prapor with only only 32 pen. On top of that, there is a task called test drive which you need to use sr2, a 9x21 smg, to kill 20 pmc on streets. Come on BSG, this need to be buffed, a lot.

Mp9-n is crazy good on some maps, it's very easy to shred class 5 even with ap ammo. Also melts bosses
My go-to sidearm when I was doing SBIH, got me out of alot of sticky situation. Its also the lightest 9mm SMG too
Don’t forget to mention the increased recoil of the PBP, which is quite noticable.
I tried that pretty kitted one you can get from mechanic for 90k. Pretty fun mpx to run
The FMJ SX round carries its pen much further than the PBP round. PBP has a very poor BC and the pen falls off quick. So the shots to kill becomes more favorable for FMJ SX at distance due to higher pen chances through plates and layered armor. It's actually surprising the huge difference between 36,37,38,39,and 40. Each 1 pen makes a tremendous difference.
However, the 2-shot kill to armpit/soft armor on the PBP is a pretty big advantage though, something that MP7 loses that past 10m and/or through class 3.
So idk which is better.
The number of times I've shot PMB and had a, as you put it, "Are they really not dead?" Moment outside of a vector was so much that I just scrapped all the guns I had of that class outside vectors
That ballistics site is awesome! But it's missing range unfortunately. One would have to manually enter the pen and damage at certain ranges. I'm certain breakpoints change for some ammos at close ranges.
I’ve been using the MP5SD a lot. If you’re going for body shots, you still need to mag dump. But it’s nasty in the right hands. I completed the current event using that weapon and I had a blast doing it.
Always loved PBP aye. Miss the old crafts for all the meta stuff.
That "slujiviy" was actually almost nice! The other two words are "Schas kapets" (sch- is hissing, as well as -ts)

PBP is the best ammo. However, I never had any issues using AP6.3. Because if you use a high RPM weapon it literally makes no difference. It shoots so fast that even if it had 27 pen would already shred.
Plus if youre using an smg youre in cqc and aiming for the face or lvl three soft below the neck
This is the same reason I tell people to use pm pm for 9x18 at 900+ rpm it still shreads
This is also why it doesn't really matter much what you put in the VSS and VAL
Personally, this just makes me wish they gave in and started adding more guns of these pistol/pdw calibers. We got conventional 5.7 style Carbines and pistols, 4.6 as well. CMMG and others have their methods to entend it out. So IDK why we just gotta stick to an MP7 and P90. for the 9x21... I got no real idea really and personally it might need some sort of buff. There's so many .45 ACP SMGs out there that it feels fake there's only 2 in game.
Edit: This is why i play SPT btw. People already have added more options that it makes BSG look kinda lazy at times
One of my favorite mod guns is the full-auto only 1911, pocket cannon with the 25 round stick mags. Uzi is another good one. Might be a Thompson floating around iirc
Did they remove PBP from Reserve loot pool? I have not played after the first week of this wipe and I have always gotten around 60 - 120 PBP rounds loosely lying around on Reserve every time I scav Reserve.
I've only found PBP the first week of this wipe on reserve
@@HenkFueltank Ah ok. That would make sense if they lowered spawn rates of the higher tier ammos on reserve then.
I found a total of 10 stacks mixed of m993, MAI AP and PPBS, none pbp. Reserve scav is op, you get free raiders to kill and loot
@@lunacryst2110 Yeah every wipe I always go to reserve to load up on PPBS and ingolnik. So abundant. And the 5.45 BP used to be the best money farm in the game until they just recently banned bp from the market.

SS190 outperforms 7N31/PBP in only 10 meters.
3:09 vector with 30 bullets is not hard to manage as a solo, its all about using your bullet correct. the high damage and penetration, along with the fire rate, it shreds players with 10 bullets. usually a mag will end up in 2 pmc kills, maybe even 3 or 4 depending on their armor
If a vector isn’t hard to manage as a solo then nothing is lol
@@dqrkened6983 well, if they have like a zabralo, then they would die using 1 whole mag to the chest but lets be honest, about 25 bullets into the chest and 1 in the head. so if he has a bud that also pushed, 5 bullets might not kill em, skill issue.
@@dqrkened6983 now i didnt say that nothing is hard to manage. mutant with 30 bullets or HK416, it would maybe take 15 bullets to kill them, might whiff a couple times. Vector is just better cause its damage, fire rate, recoil, price.

i don't know why u failed to mention that this round has the most insane energy drop in the game it becomes 36 pen as soon as it leaves the barrel its almost a shotgun round

Meanwhile this wipe I crafted 7k PBP bullets and they of course added them to purchase which made my crafts useless.

You've got some of the most unheard of take on things. 185k for 150 rounds that you can't even fill your mags with is not a good option in any shape-mental form. Just use AP 6.3 and aim anywhere, but the helmet and plate. Firerate of most SMGs should give enough hits to deal with any target present
Loved the vid Giga but I absolutely hate 9mm in tarkov I once hit a guy with an entire mag stacked with PBB, ap6.3 and rip then the guy got the luckiest headshot with 545 PRS and dropped me I use it once a wipe then die and never touch it again
Mp7 rounds are pretty cheap and better the gun is reasonably cheap with only a couple attachments needed
Level 3 is best I’ve ever reached and this wipe almost level 28 which will be my personal best

PBP isnt that good, it has absurd damage and pen drop off. At 20m it already has only 34 pen and 45 damage left.
That's why you use it with high rpm smgs
Accuracy through volume.
Sure a rifle can do the same with fewer rounds but consider the following : rifle rounds and mags are heavier, rifles fire a lot slower and are (usually) bad idea in cqc due to lenght.
And well... mp9/vector go brrrrr
45x2=90 unless they changed the health of thorax more than 85.
So without armor it 2 taps with armor it will most likely 3 tap up to class 3 due to damage loss from penatration
Anything that doesnt 2 tap in thorax is actually bad hense why meta ammos didnt change even though all the math behind them did entirely.

@@flakey7832 i personally hate it because i like the idea of leg meta but TTK is the main problem with it
If they made rounds under 20 pen fragment (a bug thats been around since the beginning of tarkov) then theres a chance for leg meta to be faster and therefore viable but the only rounds that can frag are high pen it makes the ttk randomly FASTER for the meta rounds.

the thing is that your gun starts jamming after 2 mags and the CQCM mask tanks atleast 2 shots
The VAL/VSS jams after 2 mags, not 9mil SMGs
Why are you using 2 full magazines back to back? If you spam that much just remove the suppressor, take cooling and heat stats into account and you'll be fine. Just detach the muzzle mid raid in cqc, it will be a lot easier to move around inside too.
@@antoniohagopian213 its not about shooting back to back even if its 2 raids PBP uses so much weapon durability thats its under 93 really quick and then i have to switch my gun every raid so its not jamming, the overheating isnt the problem

If you're jamming it, its on you - stop back2back magdumping drum-mags.

@@antoniohagopian213 That's a great question. It is because in Tarkov, I like the journey, not the destination. I reached Punisher 6, but I don't even care about the secure container Epsilon.
Also having the best gear is boring imo. But that's me and everyone plays differently. That is why I'm asking my question about you guys.

You can buy BT 9x21mm Gyurza from Prapor as well (59D, 36P), and the sr-2m is 950rpm. only downside is its 30 round mag, but its a strong, accessible combo imho. BT trumps PBP by a long shot. For sure a 9mm Vector with a PBP drum should be more lethal, but thats 3-4x the price of the sr-2m

@@USD2 That would be true if you were a newer player who aimed at stupid things like chest or lower in late wipe. There's a reason why high end players still run it on an MPX.
We don't need this ammo as a level 4 trader, the 9mm glock 18 and 9mm vector do not need pbp in level 4 trader, it's disqusting. mp7a2 needs a ammo nerf and needs to minit certain ammo from being purchasable.
All these sudden changes after the PR shitstorm just prove that the devs were aware they were making the game worse this hole time, and are now trying to buy points with the community by reverting changes they know were a bad idea.
Why even bother using 9mm tho, mid range 5.45 are available in abundance and doesnt require BS trader lvl, it would've made sense if the requirement for best pistol caliber is lower, but when its lv 4 while rifle rounds are easier to access its nothing more than a waste of time

PBP is actually dog water. 10 bullets into someone and they still alive, the recoil is higher and AP would be cheaper, less recoil, and reliable. i have used more than 1m for just 7 resets of PBP and use so much and get barely any kills. AP is just easier to get and use.
All on paper that sounds great , everyone knows helmets and armour don’t do shit in Tarkov.
