I really think they destroyed zaks character after this! They old manned him very fast! He was a bear knuckle boxer! Proper Yorkshire man! He became a wimp very fast!! I think zak could've still been a hardman for a fair few years considering who he was and his fighting background!
Whilst I understand his initial reaction, I also understand the only reason he didn’t finish Derek off was, as Lisa said, for Belle ( and so Derek didn’t win).
Zak can still fight he punched Dr bailey twice once in the stomach and in the face and he also decked the fuck out of rishi sharma and he punched Aaron by accident but it was still a good punch even tho it was an accident considering aaron is quite a strong man himself and he went for Lachlan white Zak and Cain are the true fighting kings of Yorkshire emmerdale legends

Zak walked in there like Clint Eastwood in a spaghetti western.

The attack on Cain changed his character, after his mental breakdown he changed completely, violence broke him mentally. That’s why he went soft
