Elijah Julius Obebo sworn in a new Kisii County DG

Former Kisii County Public Service Board Chairman Elijah Obebo was today sworn in as the 3rd deputy governor of Kisii County.
The swearing in of Obebo which took place at Gusii stadium, has put to an end five months of court battles over the position. Obebo replaces Dr Robert Monda who was impeached after being found guilty by the senate for misusing his office and abetting corruption for personal gains. The newly appointed dg vowed to adhere to the law and that he is ready to work with Governor Simba Arati to foster growth and development of the county.
