Defence and commercial has much faster promotions. AAO >5400(NFU) 4 years > SAO (7 years)> DEPUTY DIRECTOR > DIRECTOR > PRINCIPAL DIRECTOR . This hierarchy is for defence audit wing. 3. Some perks and facilities are again dependant on wing aĺlocated. Defence people get canteen card facilities, railway wing officers get railway pass.
