it sucks that some kids that have great potential never even are made aware of the existence of such academies or even clubs. If a kid is in a town that doesn't have a soccer culture, and if the kid's parents do not support the kid, then it is nearly impossible for a kid to make strides and develop well. These kids are very priveleged
@@jeanlondono4509 a few things - most of the country doesn't have a free MLS academy. My town doesn't. And then you have to try out and get accepted, so you have to be the best and to get to be the best you have to have started and played many hours at a very good club/academy, which is expensive and certainly relies a lot on parents know which clubs to go to and parents having the money and time to drive their kids there all the time.
