ENG: Prelude Records was one of the most important independent record labels for disco funk music, along with West End Records and Salsoul. Its headquarters were in New York and the label was active from 1976 to 1986. Marvin Schlachter was the owner but one of the protagonists without a doubt in this story is the legendary François Kevorkian who held the position of A&R, licensing hits from all over the world. under the Prelude label (Macho, Martin Circus, Nick Straker, Powerline, Rod...) and mixing and remixing bombs of the caliber of D-Train, Sharon Redd, France Joli or Janette Lady Day. After the first tribute we did last year, we are back with a second volume as Prelude Records produced an endless amount of hits.

Su sede se encontraba en Nueva York y el sello estuvo activo desde 1976 hasta 1986. Marvin Schlachter era el propietario pero uno de los protagonistas sin duda de esta historia es el mítico François Kevorkian que ocupó el puesto de A&R , licenciando hits de todo el mundo bajo el sello de Prelude (Macho, Martin Circus, Nick Straker, Powerline, Rod...) y mezclando y remezclando bombas del calibre de D-Train, Sharon Redd, France Joli o Janette Lady Day. Después del primer homenaje que hicimos el año pasado, volvemos con un segudo volumen ya que Prelude Records produjo una cantidad de éxitos sin fin.
