My response too. Toni Morrison on any subject including the mundane process of watching paint dry or grass growing would fascinate me. I am a shameless fangirl. As a writer her description here of how she went about research of the term goodness in literature inspires me. I enjoy research as much as I do writing, reporting what I have found in my quest to answer a question or most often to connect some intolerable to me contemporary event to its history and its roots. I aspire to learn mastery of our language such that I freely & clearly share my heartfelt thoughts with others at the sublime level my model, Professor Toni Morrison made appear reachable if I were willing to work very, very hard. I still believe because of Ms. Morrison and I am the happier for that as I live in the world today with its profound moral conflicts and insults to humanity that one day I will write like I want to read more Morrison!

A fine engaging scholar-activist whose profound contribution to the charting of human upliftment should long outlive her earthly years. - JAMAICA,1/2022
