I may be one of the few that hate this format, but... I hate this format. A race to 4 with winner breaks seems to be intentionally designed to maximize the effects of luck, making the final results seem very random, even if you do it 2 or 3 times, and then settling draws with a long-ball shooting contest, which is not even close to being the most important pool skill, just seems wrong. I'd rather feel that the winner of a 10-ball tournament was the best 10-ball player, not the luckiest.
For conversation sake, why do you think it’s “luck”? I don’t agree or disagree, I’m just curious of your perspective of it to that particular point of it being luck.
@@monwellchassion923 All of these top guys can run tables, given just a little bit of luck on the break or on your opponents misses, and it's like poker: No matter how skilled you are, you can be lucky or unlucky on any given game, but skill shows through in the long run. However, in a race to 4, there is no long run, and with winner break, the better player may never really get a chance to prove himself. With this format, in fact, with bad luck, you can actually win more racks yet lose the match.
I don't understand why more attention was not paid to the 10 going towards the lower right corner. It really had an effect on a number of games and matches in this tournament. Congrats to Zielinski, he comes off as sort of a weird guy but he is a helluva player. Yapp might have lost this tournament on an easy position play of the three to the four in the final rack. I don't understand why he chose to do it the way he did. Has to be painful to lose this way.
I think John Lehman (sp) should have had the rack tapped in or changed racks. The 10 has been rolling on that table every match I watched. Fedor and Kristina both told them. Seems kind of lax on the officials part.
I like Wiktor,,,he has shoot it in attitude. He does show his frustrations at times but he handles it well!!
Great shooting. Not much hesitation at all. Just look and shoot. Congratulations!!!!
You're going to see both of these player many many times in the future.

Why no flag for Yapp ?
Wiktor is speedy gonzales... Very smart...!!!!!
Congratulations to Wiktor👍,both Aloysius and you have a good performance。

Yapp looks like a bad tempered billiard buddha sitting there waiting for his turn.
Yapploysius
10 ball over the pocket after the break during the whole tournament and nobody cares.
Referee not alert, or ignore the 10 ball phenomenon? Is there jury of appeal ?
Si yapp ay tulad kay Anton Raga Wala din swerti pagdating sa final,,
