It was some sort of a golden age, the second in hardcore's history. I resent today's hardcore, 99% of the tracks are utter trash, we desperately need a revolutionally new sound, so we should stop supporting the DJ's and producers, otherwise nothing's going to change. If they don't have the balls to head into a new direction by themselves, we have to push them a little. :)
Krzysztof Hąnkała More precisely Oldschool was 1990-1993, then Early Hardcore between 1993 and 1998. But eventually everything becomes old at some point and the present will be the new. Where are we now? The fifth chapter of hardcore history or so? What I don't know how to call the 1998-2002 era which we used to call "newstyle". Then came the sound we call now millenium hardcore (2003-2009), and the current one is just mainstyle/mainstream/present hardcore as usual. Eventually we have to give a name to this era as well. Music history is not an easy stuff, eh? :)
