Far from the last. Rose’s MVP was in the future, Noah’s DPoY was in the future, the emergence of Jimmy Butler was in the future. But it was a great moment, to be sure - so great that I forgot it happened with so much time left on the clock.
@ Seanus Patricus During his best years, Noah was a point center on offense and a floor general on defense who could could guard the perimeter and the paint. He even shot foul shots well enough, despite his very odd tornado shot, that the team had no fear of letting him handle the ball in the closing seconds. And he gave 100% effort at all times, whether the Bulls had the best record in the league or were struggling to make the playoffs.
This and the 2013 OKC vs Grizzlies Series was the craziest earlier rounds series I have ever seen. Both series basically every game in overtime or down to the wire last possession. Probably better than most NBA Finals.
just a thought: telling the final result of the game sucks out all the excitement of the video, i didnt remember the outcome of this series so it would have been fun to not known the result until the end of the video
@@Rafa-uj2oi coach Nick is telling a story, a very detailed one where 2 teams face off. from a script point of view it's just much more fun to not known the result at the beginning
John Salmons hesitation pull up jumper was one of the best I’ve ever seen. His first step was so quick they had to respect it, which allowed him to sell the drive every time. Kevin Durant is the player today who has that hesi pull up like Salmons.
It’s crazy that these bulls player were that clutch, facing elimination, down by like 5 points in crunch time, and they did not miss, I thought about it the whole series, it’s really crazy how the whole Celtics team (expect for Ray) miss so much, and the Bulls just don’t seem to miss
Really makes you wonder why they didn't go to Allen for the closing seconds of this game. I get that they had a standard close-out formula with Pierce and Rondo which worked well up to that point. But you gotta know when to ride he got hand and when to go with your usual guys. Anyway idc too much cuz I'mma Bulls fan
If you are casually watching NBA and you don't fully understand the game - you'll definitely miss on Ray Allen's greatness. And imagine that - Rondo is 1.85 m PG and has no shooting ability whatsoever, yet in his prime, he was an All-star caliber player. Let that sink. Just think if he had a decent 3pt % ...
@Seanus Patricus yo i didnt even know about the timeout thing til i saw a clip of it a couple hours ago. still cant believe he refused to call a timeout when he had a player out injured on the floor. like what the actual fuck? even if he was a good coach, no player would ever listen to/respect him cuz he clearly dsnt give a shit about them
i'll always remember this series because I'm a Uconn fan and it was fun to see ben gordon and ray allen go at each other. both of them were COOKIN'. people don't realize how good Ben Gordon was. in that game where he dropped 42 he'd just catch and shoot with RR, KP, and RA closing him out with literally no space but UP and he'd just rise and swoosh.. that was a nasty man
i live in china and when i was watching nba games somewhat regularly back in college, big baby was with the clippers. and whenever i would watch a game involving the clippers, the only thing the commentators here would talk about regarding big baby was how he would just use his big stomach/bum to push defenders off of him to create space lol
13:11 should have been a clear path foul when Paul Pierce grabbed Noah’s jersey. Considering his non existing free throws, the outcome might have been totally different had the refs called it.
Some of Perkins defence is atrocious. Unless the opposition have a post up center (Howard, Shaq, Yao, Duncan) I can't see any reason for him to be out there. Literally his own asset in this series is screen setting...no rim protection, can't switch on to anyone, not a great rebounder and obviously incredibly limited offence.
hey, i have a question, why are the lot in the bulls team ( except D Rose) are not in the NBA anymore? Or are they benched? I see them here and they're actually good pieces around a superstar but are they already out of the NBA? **Sorry for the question, I only came around to be a fan of the NBA by the time the Cavaliers are being stepped on by the Warriors...
This video makes “playoff rondo” look bad. I’m a big fan of his and his only highlight is a put-back that was result of poor defense. His decision making was good in the video, but his overall defense and shooting.... yikes
Are we definitely sure that Steph is a better 3pt shooter than Ray Allen? I mean looking at these shots he is making especially in the playoffs is fucking crazy
He is. You have to realize how bigger Curry's role is. Steph is a superstar, teams focus their Defensive schemes on stopping him, even with KD as a teammate. It's really not even close. Ray Allen himself has said Steph is better, IDK why people still bring it up
Joakim Noah's breakaway dunk is one of the last truly iconic Bulls moments of the team's history. Something I'll never forget.
I didnt he was luring pierce to pass, then jumping into the passing lane. Its almost like a fake on offense. Super smart play.
Shame the Bulls would lose that Game 7 though. Imagine Joakim Noah vs Dwight Howard back then? What a matchup that could've been
Can you believe he got from one free throw line to the OTHER basket in 3 dribbles? Absolutely nuts.

9:11 "Big Baby takes advantage of his quickness" - you don't hear that often
Actually Big Baby was known for his quickness and skills relative to his size
@@ATICrossX Felt like a 6'9" Shaq ngl
Quick relative to Brad Miller I guess
2:06 missed your chance to say "ray ray gets a trey trey" and i cant stop thinking about it.

What in the world was this playoff series? 7 combined overtimes? I don’t think we’ll ever see something like this again.
I think memphis vs OKC had 7 overtimes too

that noah's steal + throw down with the slow ass pierce in the background was a golden moment for that whole playoffs.
I was shocked when you changed the music in the last two videos but thank god you switched back. Hope it stays now as it is
do you know the title of this epic music?
This is series that got me hooked on the NBA. Before that I followed the NBA from time to time, after that I could not miss one D Rose game
This was the pivotal NBA game of my kid years of watching basketball. Only a few other times did I feel such high tension in one game.
2:27 What Nick means by those defensive rules "back then"? I can't come up with any changes of defensive rules in that time
This series is when I fell in love with the NBA
Coach nick thanks yet again my friend for another great video, I'm glad the nba will be resuming in August can't wait 👍🏀
2:25 What defensive rules? Wasn't zone defense allowed since 2004?
I’m confused too

Does anyone know what is the title of the intro music of Most BBALLBREAKDOWN Videos?
