@ I mean. I’ve literally watched hundreds and hundreds of videos. Caught big ones myself. My dad has caught half a dozen over 45 and barely even fishes for them. Watched interviews and videos of the best Muskie fisherman in the world and I have NEVER. Not 1 time saw someone “release” 😆 a 40 plus inch Muskie like that.
Musky are not like any other fish we have. They are very delicate. As big and ferocious as they may seem. They aren’t like a flathead that u can run over with you car after keeping them in the cooler for an hour and they will still live. One tell tale sign is the color of their fins. It they are red then the fish is definitely stressed and needs help getting back into the water. I’m not trying to be rude. But they at least deserve to be treated with respect being how awesome they are.
Possibly the worst release in the history of Muskie fishing.
