    i love how the coaster dives under itself all the way to ground level and does the third inversion. It seems that there is a lot of kinetic energy left where this simulation ends, so there will probably be room for a fourth inversion, hopefully a zero G stall :D

    • @joshy1024
      @joshy1024 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is a lot of speed left before the MCBR so I'm guessing a suprise element may be added before

    • @kylanhendrix
      @kylanhendrix 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kevin Ventura there will only be 2 inversions before the mcbr

    • @joshy1024
      @joshy1024 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doesn't have to be an inversion... it could be an EPIC g-force helix

    • @kylanhendrix
      @kylanhendrix 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kevin Ventura do forget you have to follow the route of the original layout. There is no place in mean streak were you can do a helix

    • @ArtbyKurtisEdwards
      @ArtbyKurtisEdwards 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The layout is roughly a triangle, the third inversion ends along one of the triangle axes. I disagree, an inclined helix has plenty of room in the center of this layout which is entirely open and right where this inversion is ending. But, I don't think a helix will be added, but I do think one could.

    • @pivotcoastervideos3551
      @pivotcoastervideos3551 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      CaRoLiNaFuRy325 It won't be a wooden coaster anymore since the track will be Steel, but will break all those for hybrid coasters. Probably longest as well.

    • @coasterfrk99
      @coasterfrk99 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      PivotCoasterVideos lighning rod is still consider "wooden" for media purposes it will be a wooden coaster..... for enthisiasts etc its a "hybrid"

      CaRoLiNaFuRy325 Lightning Rod actually has wooden track, this does not. Six Flags considers all of theirs hybrids (except Goliath) so this will be as well

    Can I ask you some No Limits questions?
    How are you getting the transport wheels to be horizontal w/the safety bar over them? Is this a coaster type I am overlooking or a detailed object from cdemstr?
    Do you build in metric or imperial? I typically build in imperial and then just convert the length measurement to metric for the crossbeams and connectors. However, the connectors in metric or imperial never match up correctly, especially on banked turns. This happens to me even if I build the coaster in metric from the start.
    Whenever I add the lift object and associated triggers at the beginning and end of the lift, the zero car on all the trains stops working. Have you heard of this problem?

    • @MLDesigns
      @MLDesigns  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. The transport wheels on the "transfer" area are from TheCodeMaster. They're in the same pack as the rails came in. I believe they're under Details>Wheels from the download.
      2. I build in Imperial and just convert to Metric for the connectors and crossbeams. Never had an issue with them to my knowledge:/
      3. Nope, haven't had any issues like that. Best guess would be contacting TCM if the problem continues.

  • @sportsygirl8
    @sportsygirl8 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That is awesome that it's going to have 3 inversions!!! All I can say is if I ever go to Cedar Point, I certainly hope this ride will have over the shoulder restraints if it's going to go upside down. For me there are 2 exceptions for wearing lap restraints when it goes upside down are Sky Rocket (Kennywood) and SooperDooperLooper (Hershey) it's because they're short and they zip through the inversions. Sky Rocket is a little scary since it goes upside down more than SDL with the lap restraint. SDL only has one loop, so it doesn't bother me one bit.

    • @TysenLeib
      @TysenLeib 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sportsygirl8 no RMC coasters have over the shoulder restraints and plenty of them go upside down. This one will 99% not have OTS restrains. Lap bars are better, more freedom and less restrictive. Adds to the fun of not being in control and having your hands up.

    • @sportsygirl8
      @sportsygirl8 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, I see. That is a good point and with it going so fast it people may not realize they've gone upside down, which may not bother me then.

    • @TysenLeib
      @TysenLeib 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some people prefer over the shoulder restraints to feel more secure but with a lapbar only it adds to the thrill, just your opinion on the restraints :)

    • @sportsygirl8
      @sportsygirl8 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, that is me. I feel more secure in an over the shoulder restraint when going upside down, on the wooden coasters I'm fine with seat belt and lap bar.

      kepler240 for most it just wasn't smooth enough. 15 years ago there was always an hour+ wait. Since then they've added so many other great coasters, it just didn't compete. Also, the RNC track coasters are phenomenal.

      I take it you recorded a raw video then. What do you use to render/edit? I'm poor and a tigh' skate (plus my computer didn't want to download movie maker, although something might have gone amiss while downloading the installer so I should probably try it again, but idk) so I'd like to find something free or inexpensive if I can, that's y I ask.

  • @koanah
    @koanah 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wait isn't it a wooden coaster how does it invert

    • @Twisted_Thrill
      @Twisted_Thrill 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ItsConnor It is a hybrid coaster by Rocky Mountain Construction. What they do is put steel track on wooden coasters to make the ride smoother and do inversions. Go and look on youtube for roller coasters like Twisted Colossus, Wicked Cyclone, or The New Texas Giant for references.

    • @cladiax1
      @cladiax1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ItsConnor wood coasters invert the same way steal coasters do, the track pulls the trail along, and the wheels keep the train on the track, the material is irrelevant as long as it can physically support the stress, Hades 360 is completely wood and inverts, and anther gg woodie does, along with a few of the rmc Woodies like Goliath

  • @effinchad
    @effinchad 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm looking for a launch to be installed on the lift hill. There's no evidence yet that shows it can't be added. However that double up after the first drop can't have too much speed going into it. But to be thrown over the top of that height would be unreal.

    • @austincauley8395
      @austincauley8395 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      As cool as a launch would be, with as many issues as Lightning Rod has, combined with the fact that the angle of ascent on rmc mean streak is roughly 45 degrees, I don't think it's gonna happen. Cedar Point is not generally known for taking risks. Records maybe, but not risks.

    • @effinchad
      @effinchad 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Austin Cauley Well nobody is
      perfect. I'm sure they'll eventually fix that. Dollywood is one of the most expensive parks to visit. Negative guest feedback could take it's toll.
      That's the bottom of the hill so far tho on Streak. It's passing over other track. After that, it could change angle on its way up. Just sayin.
      They could put a dark tunnel on that hill too. I'm bein creative here.

    • @KyleJPie10
      @KyleJPie10 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Austin Cauley, I mean, clearly there isnt going to be a lift launch, but Cedar Point isn't known for taking risks? Millennium with it's high speed cable lift and first coaster over 300, Top Thrill with its hydraulic launch and first coaster over 400, and Maverick with its two LSM launches (and removed heartline roll) were all essentially prototypes. Huge risks.

    • @bugmonster1
      @bugmonster1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      effinchad there are no block brakes at the bottom of the lift, which would be required for it to be a launch incase of a rollback

    • @effinchad
      @effinchad 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      All points well understood. So here's my last stand...Twisted Colossus is a mad success at Cedar's nemesis, Magic Mt. That was clever what they did.
      These guys are all about one-upping. I just don't think a highest lift hill is quite enough. I think there's something more for the Streak we haven't seen built on yet, whether on the hill or after.
      But it will be great no matter what.
      edit: and it won't injure my back ever again!
