I will never understand TH-cam. Of all the channels that should have a million subscribers, this is it.
Thank you!!
What a amazing and beautiful lodge... Thank you guys.. God Bless America!! We have so much to be thankful for so can we STOP fighting about who should be President and make the men and women who came before us proud...
Thanks for watching.
you guys are driving my "Southern Indiana Discovery Overland Route"! It is on Gaia with public tracks on! I designed a more than 700 mile route across southern Indiana to have something to do with my late grandfather...
We will definitely pull that up and check it out. Thanks, Rob!
That's cool! A Bronco Sport Badlands could handle all that, correct?
Yes
Live in Southern Indiana myself, I need to check this out as well.
@brentmay6379 the Jefferson Proving Grounds are open to the public the first part of roadways is.
So much history everywhere! Great video.
Yes, there is. Thanks!
The lodge 😍…rich with history throughout the whole place. That explosion when turned up…almost sounded like you could hear stuff hitting afterwards. I thought the same as Deb about the deer. Free venison somewhere lol. Thanks jimmy for the pen hole trick, I’d never heard of that. And yes y’all got some great photos of the eclipse 👍👍
It was definitely a cool trip.
My daughter and I camped at Clifty Falls State Park near Madison. We watched the eclipse in Versailles State Park. We did the exact same roads in this video. I have a Rubicon2023 4xe. Bee Camp Creek Road is one of the trails. Bloody Run Road was the other. Nice scenic roads with minimal challenges.
Yes, it's very scenic. Thanks for watching.
Wow!!! Great adventure thru Southern Indiana. That lodge was amazing!!! The reference back to Berea College was great!!!
Thanks! It was really cool.
Bee Camp Road is awesome!
Yes
Awesome video as always Bill and Deb. Y’all truly captured the amazing and spectacular moment of the solar eclipse truly a unique experience in anyone’s lifetime. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s adventures.
Thanks for following along
I camped at Walnu Creek just west of Hot Springs, Arkansas and the eclipse was spectacular. Great video guys!!! ❤
Thanks!
Thank you, Jimmy!
Yes!! Thank you!
Hahaha it's always a pleasure exploring with you guys! Thank you for the memories!
And thank you for the plug for my channel! 😂
Welcome.
Bill, Deb, very nice! might be one of my top two videos of you guys or anyone else. loved all of it.
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I'm from Madison, my grandmother worked at the proving grounds. She was an aerial photographer.
That's cool
@@CoddiwompleOverlandjust started watching. I passed you guys on clifty drive while you were here. I know all these roads well.
It's a beautiful area. Thanks for watching.
Wow! My brother retired from the Marine Corpse as a EOD. Later after his retirement, his new job was cleaning up old bomb sites and ranges. I cannot believe seeing all those unexploded shells exposed that this is place is still allowing visitors. Guys this is serious stuff and cannot believe it is open for the public. Please call the authorities. Prayers being sent.
It is not open to the public. We had an escort with a special permit to be there.
That was a cool trip. Never knew anything about the proving grounds! Now I do! The lodge and eclipse were awesome! Thanks for the video!
Very cool area. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Bill & Deb, have traveled past the area but have never been onsite.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
The JPG looked like an awesome place to explore. Definitely need a Jimmy who knows the area and has the keys. I wonder how long it will take someone in the government to decide to limit access to the JPG. At least vehicle access. We will have to research the area.
Yes, a Jimmy and special permits.
WOW thats about an hour east of me. guess i gotta get my blazer up and running. the place i live at the inside walls of garage have shell size holes. as the plywood was used as targets. can even see the JPG stenciled on a few of them
Cool
Never would have thought Indiana had much to offer overlanding wise. Who knew?
We know now cause of you. Thanks!
Thanks! We will be going to explore more in Indiana.
Awesome ride along thanks!
Thank you for following along.
I can put a hurting on a good burger, but I believe that one would have made me tap out lol
LOL
What restaurant has that burger?
Sorry, can't remember
Nice video. Question did something happen to Kelley. Haven't seen him on the channel for some time now..
He has been spending more time around home with family.
Hey guys watching another of your videos... the proving grounds are right up the road from where my husband was born and raised ... (Otisco Indiana ) sure did not know they were open to trailing... We were wondering if you had any suggestions for central Florida (where we live now). We have a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 2 door...
Thanks for watching. The Proving Grounds are not open to the public. We had a guide and special permits. Look at the Florida Adventure Trail.
What was the route yall took? Loved the video and wanted to drive some of them in my truck as im fairly local.
We will be posting public routes on our Patreon soon.
Where is Kelly at ? Have not seen him on your videos lately.
Spending time at home with family.
Where abouts was this I'm in indiana and wanna explore this area bad
This area is closed to the public. We were there with special permission and a guide.
I've flown around that area several times but haven't ventured in due to it still being restricted airspace. Looks like a great place to do some exploring! Great video as always guys. Glad to see you got your truck back up and running.
Thanks! Commonwealth 4x4 took very good care of us and made the turnaround as quick as possible.
