This was so interesting to learn a bit about the city of Birmingham and the Civil Rights Movement. Such an important time in U.S. history and we have come so far since then.
That's so kind of you! Thank you so much! Absolutely, people are very proud of being from Birmingham, and it was a great experience for me to see that!
Love the presentation of this video. Very professional. Would love to visit Birmingham, AL to learn about some of the history and of course sample some of that good food 🙂
I really enjoyed this video. You have done a good job telling about all the great things going on in B'Ham. I had the honor of speaking with Rev Shuttlesworth several times later in his life. The part he played in the Civil Rights Movement is understated in history. It was great to hear the stories. Also please note the heaviest corner was because the 4 buildings were all banks. Allot of money sitting on that corner is described as the weight, the heaviest corner. Checking out the 3rd video.
I visited Alabama as a kid but don't remember much. Those peanuts look good and its really interesting to hear about the history at the church. I really like how you edited the video.
Great video! I used to live in Georgia, and peanuts are really big there! Boiled peanuts are a famous snack. It is so hard to believe that people would bomb a church, not once, but three times! Racism (the reason behind segregation) is really such a sad part of American culture. I'd like to say it ended when legal segregation did, but unfortunately it is still a struggle for our country.
What editing software do you use? I love the map in the beginning. I love everything about this video. Need to go back to Birmingham for the history. I have only been there for the motorcycle races. :)
I ended up watching EP3 first. EP2 is just as good. By the way, the video is so much clean and smooth. What camera are you using and what kind of gimbol?
oh cool, i enjoyed part 1. that breakfast looks pretty good. ah, i wanna visit that peanut place!! do they make peanut butter too? at 2:51, that looks like the clock tower from Back to the Future. why would anyone want to bomb a church?! >:( nice song at the end.
Look Who's Blogging Not sure about peanut butter there, but I don’t think so... I think they just maintain the old fashioned way of producing peanuts 😉 About the tower, hahaha! That’s so funny! I’d have never realized that! And about the church, yes, they tried to silence the messenger, but the message was stronger... ❤️
